If you are looking for a place to do YOGA retreat, this is the place! If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city centre, this is also the perfect place. Surrounded by nature and right by the river, it offers a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere. Just stunning! One of the best ways to experience it is to hop on a bike, explore around Hue during the day, then come back to relax and unwind in total tranquility. It really feels like a sanctuary after a day out. The service is excellent—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Mimi who looked after us has shown the great care! Highly recommended!

I had a very relaxing time at this property. The staff were very kind and attentive and would check up on me quite regularly about any needs I might have. I rented a scooter for the day and felt the axle was bit misaligned and expressed my concern. They immediately and rather quickly brought another one which was perfect. The food served is also very delicious and I would recommend to have breakfast included as the property is a bit further from imperial city. The room itself was so beautiful and very clean. No bugs, no strange stains. I had an incredibly peaceful stay here. As I mentioned above the property is a little further away from imperial city but it is closer to all the tombs and abandoned water park, etc. if you rent a scooter, you’ll have access to everything in Hue. Overall, an amazing stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Vã Riverside Retreat. The owner is very friendly, and the staff are always warm and helpful. The rooms are luxurious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The retreat offers a beautiful, peaceful environment with a scenic view of the river, perfect for relaxation. There’s a spacious swimming pool for the whole family, and plenty of activities to keep children entertained. It’s also very convenient to travel to local attractions and the airport. I’m very satisfied with my stay and will definitely be returning!

During my stay at Vả Riverside Retreat, I truly felt like I had escaped into a peaceful little world of its own. Nestled by the river, the retreat feels so close to nature – waking up to the sound of birds and spending quiet moments on the riverside swing became my favorite part of each day. The view here is simply magical, especially at sunset when the sky reflects on the water. What I loved most was how convenient the location was. While it feels hidden away from the city’s noise, it’s actually just a short ride to some amazing places – Điện Hòn Chén, the beautiful Tự Đức Tomb, the traditional incense-making village, and the serene Từ Hiếu Pagoda. The retreat itself is beautifully designed – simple, tasteful architecture with little touches that make it feel warm and welcoming. The parking is spacious, which is a relief if you’re driving, and the staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. Friendly smiles, helpful tips about where to go, and genuine hospitality really made a difference. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic, and convenient place to stay in Hue, Vả Riverside Retreat is absolutely worth it.

I love the tranquility of this place. It is set beside a river and an ancient temple. Across the river lies a place rich in history and culture – the Hon Chen Temple. In the afternoon, swaying gently on a swing while watching the sunset, or paddling myself across the river, I feel embraced by the golden light of the setting sun. In the morning, waking up to the sound of birds singing is simply wonderful. The people working in this house are so warm and kind-hearted — their smiles are my smiles. A mini riverside resort, perfectly fitting my budget, yet allowing me to enjoy such peaceful serenity.

We had a wonderful stay at Va Riverside Retreat! The property is absolutely beautiful – a lovely, well-maintained retreat with a large pool and the opportunity to go stand-up paddling right on site. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful – a special thank you goes to Anne, who supported us so warmly during our stay. She also helped us arrange a scooter rental very quickly and easily – we really appreciated that! We're very thankful and would love to come back!
