I like the excellent location in Shuzenji, I can easily reach everything on foot. And then, the service here was great and the service here was very thorough. After that, they cooked for us an incredible menu using local and seasonal ingredients.

The hotel is a little away from the train station but close to the most tourist attractions in the Shuzenji region. The hotel staff is very polite and supportive. The hotel room is clean but I think it's because the toilet hasn't been cleaned with water, the smell of urinate is strong. I did not go to the public hot spring because I don't expect too much from a private one in such a small hotel, there are 3 private hot springs that you can book and you can rent one. I tried 2 free ones and both the scenery and quality were excellent. The breakfast and dinner are served in Japanese style. The cuisine is excellent seafood. I strongly recommend visiting there. The staff can speak English.

On our honeymoon, we spent two nights at Aruku Roman. It was unimaginable! The beautiful lady manager gave us a warm greeting and showed us around the room and the basics of living in a Roman. Our room was roomy, spotless, and had a traditional thinking tatami, futons, and kata shift of clothes. It was lovely that Aruku had well-kept outdoor baths, which were ideal for winter. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, especially dinner when we enjoyed exotic cuisines such as lobster and clams as part of a course kiseki. The helpful staff assisted us in setting up the futons in our rooms while we were having dinner. Aruku is simple to walk from shuzenji station, take a 500-cab ride from Shuzenji Station, or take a bus to shuzenji Temple, then walk over. Iru provided a terrific starting solution to Zakone, which is less touristy, more rustic, and more affordable. To buy souvenirs, such as bamboo utensils, ceramics, and foods, we located a few nice stores near the shuzenji village. Overall, a very memorable and highly suggested stay!.

This is a beautiful roman in a charming little town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's on the river, making lovely bird and water flowing sounds. It's not a large roman and very comfortable. The welcome is very warm and inviting. We had a Japanese-style room, meaning futons are out while you have dinner. The roman has several origins, including 3 private rooftop open air ones on the ground level and 2 shared ones. This worked really well because I am tattooed and it can be challenging at public entrance and bathing areas. But not here. The food is incredible, and there is plenty. Meals change everyday and seafood is a major part of the spread. Make sure to eat the horned turban sea snail. Doesn't look too nice, but it is good. The rooms are quite large. Equipped with a little fridge, kettle and green tea plus water. Dining in a variety of tatami rooms on level 2 is a private affair, making for a unique dining experience. Not much English is spoken, but don't let that stop you because they will try their hardest to resolve it. onsite parking is available. The town is delightful, and there are several parks nearby that are recommended to visit. One of them, called shuzenji natural park, is not mispelled, offers breathtaking views of Fuji
