The lodge was very nice and and all the staff are very welcoming. Our stay was very pleasant and my daughters loved the spacious rooms. The staff were also very personal and gave us lots of suggestions of how to make it good in the town and places to get deals, where to eat etc.

Friendly staff at the view, just that it is under renovation / extension so there are some dusty areas you pass through to our room. Not all rooms though. There was no hot water in our room but the manager was sweet enough to explain to us that it was a new room that was being used for the first time. Generally it was fine and I think when completed it will be perfect.

Overally, the place was ok. However, There was so much noise in the corridor from staff members. You hear them talking/yelling/laughing loudly whilist you are trying to sleep. And there was no toilet paper or soap in the bathrooms had to use ours. The tv remotes do not work at all

It appears to still be under construction. The room was ok for the money. The included breakfast was fair but slow in coming out. A taxi drive from the downtown area or the falls park so be aware. They do a good job of booking the various tours but try to pay ahead and get vouchers to avoid anxiety

If this property was advertised appropriately we would give it 5 stars but it is falsely advertised showing the best room and the completed portion of the premesis when in fact it is much different. We made the best of it and the staff (prettay) compensated for the things lacking in the room. Breakfasts were delicious and anything the staff could do for us during our stay was done with kindness and sincerity.

We had a nightmare experience at this lodge. At first we were taken to a dirty and smelly room, and were only 'upgraded' to a better room after complaining and requesting a cancellation for the booking. However, we still were asked to top up with $20. I advise other visitors/guests not to rely on the photos they see online for the View Lodge, they are deceptive. The place is still largely a construction site and lacks general cleanliness. I should commend then staff members who work at the a lodge that they are trying their best under the circumstances but seem to be let down by the owner. Management is responsive and willing to engage when complaints are made. They should be credited for that too. It was an appalling experience for my small family. Thank you

This lodge needs a lot be desired. What attracted us was the price & pics. Only to be disappointed. Positive thing: Employees were good. Doing their best to make us comfortable. Bravo to Cindy. The negatives: - no soap in the bathroom. I requested & was told that the place does not provide - no toilet paper. - no hangers in the closet - outlets were not working. Only connection was fridge & TV - AC was installed but not working - no TV channels - poor breakfast

When we arrived they only had one room and not the two we booked. The owner was very nice and took us to the Falls and to a restaurant. Very friendly staff. The room did not look like the picture and was not yet finished. They are still busy building the establishment. No aircon but did bring us a fan. Room was clean but not finished and all tiling done.

This hotel has basic facilities. The toilet seat was broken, there was a broken ventilation grill in the wall, the door in the corridor leading outside wouldn't close and the standard of workmanship was generally poor. WiFi was OK and the water was hot. Victoria falls was busy so we were in a tight spot when booking. This is essentially what you'd expect as a backpacker.

Avoid this place, The fridge wasn’t working and the tv showed black and white pictures. The girls who work in the kitchen seems to have different prices for the menu. Ordered sweet and sour chicken instead we got rice with uncooked chicken which we sent back. The price of sandwiches went up from $6 to $10 overnight and only to be told after we had eaten when we were about to pay. Also we were given stale bread for breakfast see pictures. We paid for a trip then cancelled as the price had changed from Zim dollar to USD when we asked for our refund we were told we need to pay $20 charges just for a refund only to find out later when we asked one of our relatives that it was not true. The owner/ manager very crafty charged us $30 for transport to go to The Boma only to find out when the driver was being paid that it was $20. If you stay here book your own excursions as she puts extras on.
