The ceiling decor does exude a kind of a knocking shop vibe, but it's cool. There is a bus to the airport in 5 minutes' walk. The area seems safe though the area is a little rundown. Shopping in trendy restaurants is a short stroll away. The ceiling decor does infuriate but does infuriate. The room smelled of cigarettes, so I was immediately assigned to a different room, which was slightly smaller because the bed was against the wall, requiring one person to crawl in out but it was spotless, clean, and had nice hot water in the bed.

The place is conveniently located and clean and comfortable to stay and the room was small. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. When I arrived early in the morning, I was able to leave my bag and continue my day. I'd happily stay here again. The distance between the hotel and the railway station is 5 minutes.

Very enjoyable visit. Friendly and helpful management. Moreover, the location was convenient and close to well-known restaurants on foot. The room was clean, well equipped, and had a complete mini-bar. We also had our own vehicle, and parking was also secure and convenient.

The amelia hotel was a wonderful experience. The rooms' design was lovely, and there was careful attention to detail, such as the nice thick towels, the nice crockery, and the modern bathroom, which had plenty of soap. My baggage was kept by the owner in a very handy manner. A great position near the major attractions of Fortitude Valley, including the cloud forest. Also, the price was really affordable. I heartily suggest this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant retreat in the valley.
