This place is perfect for a protection trip! We got a fantastic stay here for one night on our security trip. This place has a good location for anybody. It is very fortunate to be able to stay in the three-story chalet. It comes equipped with everything you need, a large kitchen, a bath, a hot tub, and two separate secure rooms. Pearl and Malcolm create a delicious breakfast for us and have a good conversation with them. The main building also has a room, which is also fully equipped and offers a good choice.

The setting was lovely and it would be lovely to sit on the deck and watch the sun go down. We stayed in the studio cottage with a large spa bath in the bedroom. We wondered how long it would take to finish! The cottage was well-appointed and supplied everything you needed except the internet. Pearl no longer cooks dinner, but she is well-versed in local restaurants a few kilometers away. The bathroom and shower were a bit small by today's standards but they did their job. Breakfast was in the fridge when we arrived and was more than adequate.

We had just left Melbourne and were happy to be at Chestnut Hill. We needed just the view and quiet. Breakfast options were generous. We went in to meet for dinner. This is a charming little town. Take your time to explore it. We sat on the deck at Chestnut Hill and enjoyed the view. The only concern I had was the large number of spider webs on the deck and on the deck furniture. I have a problem with spiders and couldn't sit there. Sadly, during our visit, we did not meet the owners.

My wife and I stayed here for one night and had a nice quiet and secluded place. The cottage we were in is on its own on a hill with a view of the river and countryside. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with a kitchen, living room, and separate bedroom with a big spa tub with a view of the river. The hosts were very friendly and gave us some restaurant recommendations. Continental breakfast was provided in the cottage. It was quiet at night and we enjoyed the spa tub with it's view. Wifi is only available in the main house.

We stayed in a studio cottage which was very well laid out and had all the basics including breakfast, apart from the internet, but not having the internet may give you more time to explore the neighborhood and surrounding lakes. The location is perfect for an east coast getaway as it is close to most of the major towns and approximately 10 to 20 minutes to the entrance to the nearby lakes. Pearl is a good host who will help you with anything she can and tell you about the places to see around, overall it is a very nice place to relax and enjoy what the country has to offer.
