We had the best time at Falls Creek. We loved staying at the Elk. Georgie and the team were very accommodating and so helpful from daily recommendations to baked treats. Would definitely come back and would highly recommend this fabulous location as a holiday spot!

We had apartment 12. Which located on the outside. Which was perfect for my screaming kids and being away from the noise of everyone else. The rooms are warm and new. Kids loved the nexflix and stan on the tv. Restaurant was fancy but well priced. And Rochelle was amazingly helpful and accommodated everything that we asked for.

We had apartment 12. Which located on the outside. Which was perfect for my screaming kids and being away from the noise of everyone else. The rooms are warm and new. In the fall, Leanne and Jake gave us a wonderful trip to Elk. The accommodations are excellent, beautifully appointed with extremely comfy bedding, and beautifully designed kitchens and bathrooms. Every apartment has a drying cabinet that can quickly dry all your clothing overnight. The skidoo room has been perfectly set up, as well as a washer and dryer. We used three outdoor spas every day after our day on the slopes. Bob sugar is excellent, and we were able to purchase coffee for breakfast to send to our apartment. Any visit includes a cocktail and supper. Leanne and jake were extremely generous, accommodating, and helpful. No hosts could have been more kind. We appreciate it. The location is a short ski walk from valleys, or there is a bus stop right outside. Hire from central snowstorms, and they'll pick up your equipment after your stay.

Everything in this short description was wonderful. Faster and smoother late check-in, spacious and well-appointed apartment with a view, excellent laundry, drying rooms, and outdoor hot tubs. There was an impressive outdoor hot tub, and apparently a bar there was one that we didn't try. Excellent information on what restaurants and cafes were open. Leanne was able to answer all our questions prior to the trip and during our stay, making this a great location to base yourself for exploring the high plains in the summer. I wish we had stayed 34 nights rather than just two.

This is the place to stay in Falls creek. This place is the best place, Leanne is amazing! The hotel has the best hot tubs. Very accommodating and kind. Can't wait to come back again.

We love staying at Elk. The apartment is great for families and the sophisticated modern design is beautiful. Leanne and her staff are very helpful and accommodating. Elk is conveniently located between all amenities which makes it ideal for skiing and mountain biking. We look forward to our next stay.

We were privileged to be able to book at Elk at the last minute because there were so many in lockdown. In every way, the communications in advance and during our stay were excellent, and Kake was extremely helpful. It was great to have been upgraded to a larger apartment. The apartment was extremely comfortable, and had everything we needed for our few days away. We enjoyed the ease of their takeout meals, and the Bob Sugar restaurant on site served excellent breakfasts. Elk is ideally located near great restaurants and a short walk down the hill to the ski lift.

Location Good, Daily house keeping a Joke, display pillows thrown onto bed and bed not even made, no clean towels and checking in time advertised at 2pm they Elk advised me 4pm. Room very small they advertise rooms with Kitchen and that's not the case, very disappointed advertising it as 4 star property.

I am a falls creek regular for the snow season. This was the first time I tried the elk after seeing it many times and regularly having dinner there. Unfortunately the accomodation is poor. The room we had, apartment 10 seems good when you first arrive, the layout and features are fresh and modern. However functionality not so much. We had a large bed, mind you two singles pushed together with a sheet over it; plonked in the centre of the room, good luck trying to walk around the side of it. The room was dirty and not clean at all. The toilet had “residue” on it, the floor felt gritty and not clean. These things are disappointing when you are paying a premium to stay at a place like the elk how ever these can be omitted from your stay due to the fit out and Qulity. The topper for me to mark the elk 1 star was the noise... why ohh why would you put a room directly under the kitchen when the floor is timber.... 530am the banging begins with staff and guests stomping around for breakfast.... and then dinner... that concludes at 11pm Will I stay at elk again. Never, will I eat at the elk again, most likely not knowing the torture I am putting the people staying at apartment 10 under.
