The room was very clean. Only dust found was on the fluorescent bulbs behind bed. No bugs on ceiling or dirt found anywhere else. Bathroom updated and drains clean. Only place in Australia we stayed where drains were clean. There was a hook to hang towel for shower. The guest book was a great read we visited the restaurant across the street and tunnel. Bed was firm and pillows flat but got two. Staff was super friendly. This is the best place to stay in Gin Gin.

This hotel is situated centrally. It has lovely large rooms and is very clean! Our stay here was nice and quiet and the staff were friendly. I would recommend staying here when I'm in Gin. Eat at Lily Cafe across the street. They have great food that's reasonably priced.

I only stayed one night and found the central motel in Gin to be the ideal overnight rest stop. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable. also very close to everything you need in terms of food, drink etc. Thanks.

The room was so comfy, clean, and spacious, so much better than any motel room I have stayed in for the same price. It's nice to be able to open the front window and door to breathe in fresh air and a breeze in, sit outside, watch the birds, and listen. I also liked the skylight in the bathroom, which filters out the light entering the room in the morning if you chose to leave the bathroom door open. The blackout curtains are very effective. Everything is well maintained. I hope to stay here again.

The owner had designed a lovely welcoming room that impressed when you entered. As you entered, there was a brick alcove that had been painted a dark greyblack, giving the basic motel shell a modern feel. The wallpaper on the feature wall had a slightly Moroccan feel to it. Much more classy than the average motel on a major highway. Care went into complementing and matching items to a color theme as if it were her own lounge room, even providing a matching black kettle and toaster. It was big and black. Free wifi. Spacious room with a table, couch, and a footstool. We had a superior room with boxtel, but I'm sure the owner would have used her interior decor skills to maximize all of the rooms. Modern appliances including a slightly larger fridge, while the bathroom had its original tile floor and the shower retained its earlier refurbished wall tiles it was clean and the basin area was new and matched the decor. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Recycling and waste bins are available in the hotel yard. Small garden. It is located on the Bruce Highway in the town of Gin. Ideal for a night or two when touring.
