Very nice hotel..Stayed 6 nights for GC Marathon 2024. Good choice due to free trem ride for marathon participant. The Hotel location is near surfer paradise trem station (behind the hotel), mini market, restaurants (Subway, Japanese, Thailand, Persian, Chinese restaurants) and the beach (200m). Also near Cavill Avenue..the tourist area: Mall, Restaurant, beach etc (700m or one trem station before Surfer Paradise). The breakfast was also good (lot varieties) but need queing after 8am. Overall..very satisfied with Voco Hotel. Thanks

For three nights, we stayed at Katana Palms. The receptionist, roxanne, welcomed us warmly upon arrival and was very friendly whenever we spotted her throughout our visit. Though the rooms are a touch old, you get what you pay for. We just wanted somewhere affordable to sleep because we were going to be out and about most of the time. The apartment 317 was clean and tidy for our stay. The center of surfers is only a 5-minute stroll over the bridge. The pool, while unheated, was sufficiently warm for a few afternoon swims and wellequipped with bbd facilities, tables, chairs, and loungers. Another reviewer noted the water pressure in the shower, we found this in most places we've stayed, even with our friends, and I think it has something to do with queensland water conservation. The location could use some updating, but it's cheap as chips so you can spend more money shopping! Roxanne is a valuable part of the complex thanks to her friendly manner.

This is a nice apartment, with a very nice and well-appointed room and a really good location, well-accessible to the main activities in surfers paradise but also completely out of the chaos. I'm not disappointed with the quality of the service from the personnel and nothing was too much trouble. The view and peace and quiet were disturbed by construction in front of the hotel, but the glass sliding doors were able to block out all the noise. The only negative thing is that the apartment smells like mold and I could not tell in the room. This place is very recommended and I hope to stay again here one day.

The apartments' reception staff helped us come up with travel ideas that were appropriate to us by being very accommodating and pleasant. We spent a long weekend here. We reserved the three-bedroom penthouse apartment because our grandparents were visiting us. There was plenty of room in the apartment, and the views from the terraces were breathtaking. Our two-year-old kids enjoyed the shallow sections of the pool because the pool, sauna, and fitness area were great options for us. The beach, Cahill Avenue, and Orchid Avenue are both close by. The chevron shopping center was ideal for grocery shopping, and the Italian and Malaysian restaurants there provided a reasonably affordable dining option.

I will definitely stay here again. Had a great time at the ruby, the room was on the second floor and very clean and modern. Sitting on the balcony was loud at times but it was just children playing in the watermark next door so nothing to bother us, the inside apartment was very quiet, double glazed doors and windows I believe. The restaurant has started working a couple of days a week so it will be great when it's back to full time so you can go downstairs for a beer and relax.

The room we stayed in had three bedrooms and two bathrooms and had a beautiful sea view. We were able to secure two parking spots under secure parking near the beach and a short walk to the shops. Everything was immaculate and the apartment was great.

We are very satisfied with the Spectrum Apartments. They are really affordable and tidy, well-maintained, and secure. They have a beautiful view of the river and sea. If you're searching for a quieter place near everything this is the place.

First, the positive sides of the rooms are spacious. Just cross from the beach, unbelievable ocean even in a partial view room, nice book collection in the lobby. However, this hotel really needs renovations to avoid wasting such a beautiful location. The shower is incredibly slow. Each shower can take up to an hour. Hot water was unstable and required constant adjustments to reach a comfortable temperature. The wifi is pathetically slow, the speed test shows less than jobs and drops out frequently. Huge cockroaches in the parking lot.
