About Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat
Nestled in the wilderness near Cradle Mountain, Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat offers a range of accommodations, from cozy cabins surrounded by ferns to luxurious spa suites. Cabins feature private balconies and ensuites, some with spa baths. Families will appreciate the two-bedroom cabins with loft bedrooms, while couples can enjoy the romantic ambiance of the spa suites, complete with king beds and gas fireplaces. The main lodge, constructed from Ponderosa Pine logs, houses the reception, guest lounge, bar, restaurant, and offers free Wi-Fi. The retreat is accessed via an 8km well-maintained gravel road off Cradle Mountain Road, a scenic 15-minute drive through the wilderness. Please note that Wi-Fi and mobile phone access (Telstra) are available in designated areas of the lodge. Drive times from key locations: Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre (30 mins), Sheffield (45 mins), Devonport (1 hr 20 mins), Launceston (2 hrs), Hobart (4. 5 hrs), and Strahan (2. 5 hrs).
