The hotel is right in the middle of town. Rooms from $113 night. Although pretty basic they have been refurbished and are great value for money. The bar has that old fashioned country pub feel with lots of locals We had a great meal at the restaurant across the road. Gatsbys has tribute bands most weekends. There’s plenty of wineries and Manjimup truffle farm.

Run of the mill country motel (says hotel but it’s a pub with rooms upstairs) Hot water barely got hot enough to shower and the whole room was decked out with cheap Kmart Knick knacks, Noisy group was downstairs singing until all hours and then noisy when going to rooms at night, noisy when waking up and leaving rooms in the morning They run this place on a skeleton crew

The Hotel is a charming old building and spotlessly clean, the room was small, the bathroom old, there was no air conditioning. The meals in the bar were fabulous, great value and great quality. I will certainly stay again but will try for a bigger room.

If you plan on sleeping in past 4am you won't plus people in front balcony rooms smoke and the smell goes through the place, showers terrible and the beds not comfortable at all. Wouldn't stay again.

Room was tiny and neglected. Shower and toilet were almost delapidated. I would categorize this as a worst hotel by far that I've been into in Australia. With this conditiion, they should just be charging $40-50 per day and to make the whole stay worst, was the noise from the the music coming from downstairs that starts at 8pm all the way until 1 am. It was saturday so I am not sure if this was just a bad timing otherwise I pitty every guest if this happens in a daily basis. We were promised when we complained about the sound that everything will stop at 10 pm just to be frustrated waiting until 1 am when all screams from drunk customers and music stop. We're supposed to stay for 3 days but cancelled the remaining 2 and was pleased that WOTIF refunded it. It would have been a bit better if these scenario was included before booking so customers would know the situation of the stay beforehand.

We arrived at the hotel after 8.30pm which I had advised the hotel about and when we arrived the sports bar was closed, everything was closed and all dark so we could not check into the hotel. I managed to find an open door and walked around the sports bar area to the back into the kitchen and asked where the sports bar was and that I was here to check into our accommodation and that keys were supposed to be available for us to collect and for us to pay our accommodation. One of the staff didn't know anything but he walked out the building with me and pointed out that the owner Ed was standing across the road and that I should go and speak with him. The staff member was helpful in that he came out the front with me and saw that Ed was across the road and came with me over to where Ed was standing and I told Ed the situation. Ed came back to the hotel with me and sorted it out for us thankfully by finding the envelope behind the bar with my name and said that the bar staff must have closed up early which was not good. He gave us a couple of drinks on the house and said we could pay for our stay in the morning. We could not use our drinks voucher which was part of the booking cost. A few hours in our room watching tv, the tv, heater and switches all turned off. Something tripped the switches so we had no heating throughout the night and we were unable to charge our phones overnight. Noise started in the morning before 6am also. No discount given to us for inconvenience.

The room stank of cigarette smoke, the bathroom was horrible. Tiles would fall from the wall when you walk around. The floor is chipped and floor tiles are missing. The window latches were broken off so anyone could open the window from the outside. It was super noisy all night. We had very limited sleep. The list goes on… Absolutely horrible place to stay
