This was a unique experience of an outback homestead. Great for a couples retreat or a friends gathering. Absolutely beautiful panorama and off the main track. Worth it!

Hard to find the right words to describe our stay, magical doesn't do it justice. Beautiful displays of nature, genuine and warm staff. Unforgettable. It's rustic, with country charms & quirks which was exactly what we wanted (why would you come to Alice otherwise?). The staff put on a really sweet and thoughtful birthday set-up for us, with DIY decorations. Only wish we could've stayed longer!

Tucked away in the heart of Australia’s NT lies the hidden gem of Ooraminna Station Homestead, expertly curated by owner Nicky Lorimer. This former cattle ranch and movie set (famed for Ted Egan's "The Drover's Boy") is steeped in rich history and diverse culture. Accommodations: • 4 cabins offering simplistic comfort • 4 glamping tents available during winter months (perfect for stargazing) • Refreshing pool overlooking the Ooraminna Hills Dining: • Savor delicious, authentic Aussie fare at the on-site restaurant and bar • Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape Night Sky Experience: • Take a short 250-meter stroll in any direction for unparalleled stargazing • Witness the breathtaking Milky Way in all its glory • Capture stunning night photos with ease The Verdict: Ooraminna Station Homestead embodies the true essence of the Outback. With its unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, this destination is a must-visit for any traveler seeking an immersive Australian experience. Recommendation: Don't miss the opportunity to experience Ooraminna's warm hospitality, exceptional cuisine, and awe-inspiring night skies. Book your stay and create unforgettable memories in the heart of Australia. I would recommend staying in the cooler months

We were absolutely blown away by our stay at Ooraminna Station on the weekend. The staff were lovely and the food was some of the best we had ever had. The cute animals following us was a bonus. Cabins were clean and well situated, hadn’t lost any of its heritage at all. Highly recommended to anyone

We rode our bikes from Alice Springs and booked 3 cabins. They were clean, warm and comfortable. We used the Bbq area and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We had an amazing stay and will do it again

Nothing short of exceptional! The property is stunning, the owners are warm and hospitable, the food is delicious and the cabin had a comfortable bed, air conditioning and all the amenities you could need! Couldn’t recommend the station enough for an authentic outback station experience with the comforts and thoughtful touches. We will return again one day!

Nice nature, quiet. Good outside area. But the accommodation lacks comfort you would expect from the price.

Gemiste kans!

We stayed at the Tin House. Great fire pit but spa bath shown in the photo on the website was not a spa, rather a corner bath. Fantastic location but inadequate cooking facilities and crockery and cups for a cup of tea. $15 for one beer at the restaurant. Overall, average but could be Excellent with a few changes. Review from local Alice Springs resident!

Absolutely dysfunctional. We turned up and they didn't even know we had a booking. The place was a mess. We did not stay. Total shambles.
