excellent stay for two nights on a work trip, cheap, no frills stuck in the 70's but thats the charm of the place. reception was quick and painless, was left alone my whole stay which i love, spent my time eating and sleeping. great to catch up on sleep :-)

Structurally, it was a standard old-style 1960s motel room. It was clean and bright, and it happened to be well-heated ahead of our arrival on a very cold 2 degree night in June, and it was well-sealed, with no draughts. There were electric blankets on both beds in our twin room and spare blankets and pillows in the wardrobe. The beds were good and I slept better there than I had in weeks at home. There were cups, glasses and wine-glasses, and milk in the fridge. It was situated on the far edge of town, on the road to Meeniyan and was therefore very quiet, with little traffic driving past. It had a view over to the rolling hills that are so picturesque around here. The owner, Ian, was very easy to deal with.

We travelled here to stay 1 night with a 2 year old and a 3 month old. We got the twin room which has a single bed and a double. Check in was easy and the staff were friendly. Both our kids are in cots and there was enough room for a pram, portacot, a little space to play and room for our bags. It’s close to town but the footpath ends just before the motel so I failed at trying to walk from town back to the motel. Room was clean fresh. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but we still got a good sleep. All in all, was great for a 3-star motel and for a short stay with a young family. We would stay here again.
