Mick & Susie were very friendly and helpful in recommending things to do, see and eat in the area. Amazing to learn that this beautiful house was transported from Surrey Hills and converted into a B&B by Mick & Susie 18 years ago. The breakfasts were divine and kept us going all day. No children which was a bonus - couples only.

Pelican Sands was a great place to stay, opposite a nature reserve, walk to the beach and Ramblers Walk. Nice views from the back deck, a favourite place to watch the sunset. Susan and Mick were very hospitable.

I come to portarlington each year for the tri and found this place last year. Came back again this year as nick and Susan are such awesome hosts and always make you feel welcome. It's also pretty close to the beach and a short ride to the pier so great if you're doing the tri (or have a boat or want to swim). Rooms are all well laid out with a spa in each. Perhaps starting to get a little aged now but all very clean and functional and in good working order. Definitely going back next year!

Lovely house, hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of it. We didn't have to have lunch. I loved everything about the place. Spa had plenty of room for two, very relaxing. Rooms were decorated nicely.

We loved our stay at Pelican Sands. The whole place had a homely feel, with lots of personal touches to the rooms. We were a short walk from the pier and the beach, only a few minutes drive into town for a great cuppa, and only a few minutes away from delicious wineries. The room was spacious, clean, and warm. Mick's home-cooked brekkie was professional, delicious, and made to our dietary requirements. We loved meeting both of the hosts, and would definitely go back.
