Beautiful setting. Peaceful and relaxing. Rooms as stated. Only 1/2 hr from Port Fairy so used it as our base to attend the PFFF.

The property is beautiful and I'm very glad I went. Have never stayed in the area before and it was an easy drive to Port Fairy for the festival. The room was simple which is what I expected but it would have been really nice to have a rug on the floor-hard boards didn't make it feel very cosy. Kettle, toaster etc all provided but cords not long enough to reach power points so had to balance kettle on the sink. A powerboard would have come in handy. Really lovely welcome, left alone and very safe and quiet. Beautiful surrounds. Thanks.

The property was stunning and quiet, the only downside would be that the bed was quite uncomfortable but that’s generally to be expected when staying somewhere ! Great hospitable owners who let me check in early over Christmas. Thankyou so much. Would stay again.

Set in lovely tranquil gardens surrounded by native trees and open paddocks the historic Quamby Homestead did not disappoint. Very calming for the soul. Lovely hostess.

The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome , gave us some great tips for meals out and loved her friendly dogs . A very peaceful setting and the walks around the property were great . There was champagne in the fridge to toast our stay . Thanks for a great 2 day stay 🤗

Nous cherchions un endroit calme pour passer la Noël..... Nous l'avons trouvé. C’est tout simplement magnifique. Perdu au milieu de nulle part. Si vous chercher un endroit isolé pour vous ressourcer ou vous reposer, surtout n'hésitez pas. La nature tout autour de nous..... et si comme nous vous avez de la chance, vous pourrez voir des koalas dans leur milieu naturel. Génial Toutefois, une voiture est indispensable

A really fantastic place to stay - clean, luxurious, peaceful and beautifully historic. The owners very attentive and welcoming (went out of their way to provide helpful information). We had a great time at Quamby, which was perfect as a base to explore the Grampians and Port Fairy Area area. Would recommend for those seeking to escape the crowds and enjoy a peaceful time in a historic and rural setting.

Lovely old homestead in rural farming country, about 5 mins drive from township of Woolsthorpe where there was a good pub for dinner. We stayed in the School Room which was beautifully furnished, hosts very friendly, continental breakfast with William's homemade bread in the grand dining room in the main house was good. Nice to walk around the gardens and bush track.

Spent 2 nights at the Quamby Homestead during Easster holidays and was pleasantly surprised. Although a bit of a drive to Warrnambool and Port Fairy, the Homestead was very quaint, clean, modern (in room internet) and well run. Willaim and Alisa were excellent hosts, helping us with dinner reservations and activity recommendations. Cooked breakfast with farm fresh eggs and homemade bread was top notch. Walks around the propety provided opportunity to stroll through the countryside while spotting wild wallabies on site. The book in the room with the history of the site was a nice touch. For anyone looking for a quiet relaxing accommadation away from the tourist spots in the cities, I would put the Homestead to the top of the list.
