Excellent location in the Bunga Mountains without the price. He greeted us like we have known him for years. The cleanliness of the place is excellent. He also has excellent local knowledge. I think it's good to stay on a working farm.

At Rangemore Estate, you're really a guest not just a paying customer. Dave is a fantastic host who happily helped us with our issues, answered our questions and let us feeling like home at his beautiful farm. Before arriving at the estate, we had heard a lot about the Dave's famous breakfast. It was really superb! The facilities were good and everything we needed could be found in the cabin. It was clean and we loved waking up to the noisy (hungry sheep and birds), but still calming sounds you expect to hear on a farm. The verandah was a great place to watch the sunset and the Bunya Mountains in the distance. The farm was approximately 30 minutes away from some of the hiking trials in the Bunya Mountains and it was close to several cosy villages. If you're looking for a peaceful accomodation with a host that will truly look after you, we would definitely recommend Dave and the Rangemore Estate!

David was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble. Was a lovely quiet spot and we enjoyed sitting on the verandah of the cottage. Breakfast was yummy!

We were on a road trip from Bundaberg to Jandowae and needed somewhere nice between the two as a base and to have some relaxation time on the trip. We decided on Rangemore as it was close to Bunya mountain, it has a natural setting and breakfast was included. Boy, were we surprised when we saw the panoramic view from the cottage ... I'd say probably the best I've seen. Add in the peace and quiet, the bird and animal life, the magnificent stars and the fact that not a light can be seen during the night and it turned out to be a magic couple of days.

I recommend it. This place is very basic, clean, and comfortable. Dave was a great host and served a delicious breakfast. The view was amazing. I've been here many times now and will stay there again. It has a lovely, peaceful atmosphere. Not posh but good.

We have stayed at David's Bed Breakfast twice, this time with a view of the stunning Mount Bunga Mountains National Park. He also has great facilities for caravan travelers. He creates the best hot breakfast. This is a working farm, so don't be surprised when you wake up when his sheep and friendly dogs greet you at the front door. David is the best host. I will be back.

We spent a peaceful night camping here and loved that campers had a wonderful clean bathroom accessible from the verandah of the house. Dave was gone but we were greeted by dennis and his wife, the friendly caretakers. We sampled some of the wines no longer have any vines there because of drought and chatted peacefully before sleeping peacefully in our van. The property is drought impacted because it is all very old, but the view across the paddock to the bunga is beautiful. The house is old but looks comfortable and a nice stopover on the way to the Bunyan. The area is interesting and it's worth visiting the nearby bell for delicious food at pips I cherries cafe! Thank you dennis and dave. I'll be back soon!.

I'd rather keep this place a secret.... I enjoyed the serenity and the food and service was excellent. A place to get away from townies with over inflated opinions of themselves.

A vert friendly welcome from the owner with breakfast included cooked by him as well. Would recommend Rangemore Estate to anyone looking for a quiet retreat any time of the year.

Facilities are simple, but good quality. Do not expect a replica of city or coastal luxury. We stayed in one of the two double studio rooms in a duplex building. There's a 3 bedroom cottage, a relocated 1920s building with era furnishings and a fireplace to be appreciated in winter. Another farm house has cellar tastings/coffee & breakfast. The view of the Bunya Mountains and the working sheep/goat farm from our north facing desk, was fantastic. The view of the stars was even better. I enjoyed a very good, smooth 2005 Rangemore Red. We loved having Willy Wag tails and finches living around our back door, wallabies etc. We had a very big country breakfast on the deck: cereal, juice, coffee/tea, a huge and delicious omelette with bacon, onion, capsicum, cheese and herbs/spices, freshly made by Dave, who was a good host. This is the experience we were after.

If you want to get away from it all, then this is the place to go. Cabins are very good, Dave, the owner is down to earth, interesting and very hospitable. The stars at night were sensational! His wine is great too, and goes well with his curried goat pies! Close to Mount Bunya which is a beautiful place to spend some time.
