Barocklandhof Burkhardt is situated in the heart of spit, close to the railway station. The structure is charming, dating back to the early nineteenth century, and has a beautiful garden. The personnel are quite welcoming. The only issue was that we reserved the cheapest room, which appeared lovely in the pictures but was in reality quite sterile, with small windows, a colorless, uncomfortable couch from the is, and a partially broken dining table. Given the lovely Biedermeier furnishings elsewhere in the building, it's a shame that the pieces in our room were unable to be replaced with something else. In the morning, the room is also very bright. Unlike the rest of the hotel, it wasn't like being in a kwacha hotel. I regret not upgrading, because I had the impression that the other rooms were much nicer.

A stones throw from the dance and a backdrop of steep hills, a long gravel drive past fruit trees and the garden takes you to 500 yearold Rock Landon Burkhardt. The house is beautifully restored inside, with every comfort and wisdom and michael Burkhardt and his team make you feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bed was enormous and very comfortable. Our shower was a good sized, separate toilet with toiletries, a hairdryer, a magnifying mirror, and slippers etc. provided. Armchairs, good wifi, flower boxes on the windowsill and an antique crystal chandelier added to the charm. Breakfast is great with plenty of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, cereals, yogurts, eggs cooked to order, and jams made wisely from garden fruits. During the day you can serve yourself coffee, teas, and fruit and there is a wine selection for guests to enjoy. Michael and wise are experts in the local area the house has been in Michaels family for 7 generations and can tell you everything you need to know about getting around, what to see, where to eat, wineries, etc. The whole house is beautifully kept and immaculate, and it feels like no one had ever used your room. Truly a unique experience and we look forward to returning to see the house at different times

We spent 1 night at Brock Handoff in Spits Austria. This is the best hotel we've stayed at. Very big room, owner, Gazelle very kind and helpful. Breakfast is very good. Very recommended Benny.

Excellent location in a lovely town. This charming hotel once served as the grapegathering hub for the renowned wines that are produced here, and while restoring the historic character and gracious charm, the rooms have been upgraded to a high standard. Rose bushes, apricot, pear, and walnut trees line the surroundings in a nearly magically beautiful and serene arrangement. The grounds are bordered by lovely, peaceful vines, which surround a warlike environment. Our rooms had a view of the garden in one instance and a glimpse of the dance in the other, and were immaculately clean, quiet, and cozy. Additionally, eggs prepared to order at breakfast and housemates' preserves!

Interesting old building with a fruit orchard for a garden. Convenient for the regular bus service to Melk or Krems, the train station (odd service) and the Spar supermarket.

What a wonderful time it was while staying at this lovely accommodation. Lovely atmosphere, and the kind staff that goes with us, Michael and the hosts. The room was excellent, with everything you needed. The bed was excellent for resting well, given that the location is in a beautiful wine region with many activities to do, such as hiking, biking, and of course good dining. We will definitely be back to stay at this place again.
