Familienhotel Hinteregger

The Hotel Hinteregger has been catering for guests and providing happy family holidays for over 79 years. Located directly next to lifts at Katschberg, guests can be on the slopes within minutes of walking out of the front door. One can also hit the slopes by foot. Its prime location near the main A10 motorway makes it very easy to access by road. It is still, however, in the very heart of some very beautiful countryside; mountains, forests, hills, and meadows surround the property, which is near to Carinthia and Salzburg. The ski area of Katschberg offers excellent opportunities for skiers; there are 50 kilometres of red, and ten kilometres of black and blue slopes. There is also a children's snow park. In the summer, guests can enjoy exciting rafting on the Mur River, canyoning, and kayaking. The surrounding hills can be explored by foot, by bike, and also on horseback. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool in St Michael, a golf course only three kilometres outside the town, and mini golf. Rooms can sleep between 2 and 5 people. They are equipped with satellite television, telephone, radio, safe, and fluffy, cosy bathrobes. With comfortable furnishings, rooms offer a really pleasant stay, to enhance any active and outdoors holiday. The hotel is designed to provide an abundance of activities for children, whilst allowing parents much needed time to rest and relax. There are a number of rooms dedicated to children's entertainment, as well as a playground, table tennis, billiards, an art workshop, a mini cinema, and a fun children's disco. In the wellness centre there is also a separate section for little ones. Children can enjoy the series of interconnected pools and slides. Adults can indulge in a sauna, refresh in the inhalation room, let all cares drift away in the salt baths, and relax in the jacuzzi. The centre is ideal for couples and friends. The restaurant has an open kitchen where one can watch local and international delicacies being prepared.
