I stayed at this hotel for an overnight stay. It was perfect for us. It has nice rooms with flat-screen televisions. There is a big bathroom. The hotel also has a small bar and restaurant. It's comfortable and good food. We will come back there.

We only stayed here one night on our way back to the airport, but we would have liked to stay longer. Venetrast is a family-run gasthof that is very comfortable and friendly, we had a lovely big balcony with a view over the valley. The food was excellent. It was nice to be able to sit in the garden, enjoy a beer, and eat. There are some lovely walks around, and it's very peaceful and off the beaten track.

I stayed here with my friend while we were heading to Innsbruck. We were pleasantly pleased. It is a family-owned guesthouse, which is exceptionally well-maintained and modern. It is also very well situated if you want to hike in the summer or ski in the winter. My only issue was that the window curtains were on the thin side, which means you get woken up by the sunlight as soon as the sun rises. Sadly, the other hotel we stayed in had the same problem with thinner curtains, so I believe that's the way things are in the area. They have winter deals, where a double room costs around 360 euros per week, half board. So give them a try and have a lovely stay.

The hotel is located in the middle of every major ski resort in the area. If one wanted to go to Innsbruck, the small town has a train stop. There is a small mall and a coffee shop in the town. But we were there primarily to use the ski resorts. The hotel was simple to find. There was ample parking. Everything was fresh and new in the newly renovated rooms. We had a balcony with a stunning view of the valley. Our bed was comfortable and we had plenty of hot water. I will say that this is one of the most comfortable rooms we have stayed in Europe. The entire establishment was comfortable and the owners were very friendly. Breakfast is served daily from 1800 to 1730, but the hostess graciously served dinner for us at 200 without fuss. The food was traditional tyrolean cuisine and was excellent. Ideal after a day out in the outdoors. If we are in this area again, we will definitely stay at the Gasthof Ventrast.

If you enjoy mountain views, then this is an excellent buffet breakfast. There are great walks and lovely houses on the doorstop. The location was peaceful. The room was big and had a large balcony, but the decoration was a bit old. The breakfast was delicious and was simple. The terrace had a nice view. The bar is a small steel in front, and the dining room is bigger in the back.
