When we booked a hotel winter for our holiday trip, we were not disappointed. Excellent personnel, friendly staff, and great location. Breakfast was well-stocked and tasty, and dinner was delicious and satisfying after a day of skiing.

The family run hotel in Obertauern offers traditional Austrian hospitality. The hotel is conveniently located near the lifts and only a short walk from the village. We have had a wonderful week with good snow, bluebird days, a fantastic alpine ambiance, and fantastic family skiing. I appreciate everyone at Hotel Winter for making our Austrian vacation so wonderful. The rooms are cozy and clean, with everything you need for a busy ski vacation.

This hotel has a very nice family run hotel with very big rooms. We stayed in self-catering apartments with half board which included daily cleaning. It's a 30 second walk to the main lift and direct access from the slopes on the way down. Breakfast was good and the 3-course dinner was ok. The hotel atmosphere is wonderful, very comfortable with a bar and fireplace. Spa and sauna were excellent. Good value for money!.

The hotel is very conveniently located and has a ski rental shop attached. The room is immaculate, the staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious. A total gem of a hotel.

We stay in the Winter hotel section, we also stayed in the Apartments area. The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful, and the location is close to the lift. Nice restaurant and bar inside, good service and good cuisine. And then, it is close to a pizzeria. From the balcony, you get a beautiful view, and also there are parking spaces inside the hotel.
