During our stay in Juma Altausee, we were really satisfied. We felt at ease thanks to the welcoming employees. The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless, the wellness area was kept in excellent order. All of this is surrounded by nature. The hostel's location is ideal for a variety of trips, such as the Loser which is just behind the corner.

The hotel is very basic, more suitable for students or backpackers. Clean and quiet. They provide bottles of water that appear complimentary and without a price specified, then they charge you. Toilet paper is the most inexpensive they could find. The whole atmosphere is fair breakfast and dinner. Wi-Fi doesn't work in every room despite what I promise.

We had to drive through a forest to get there, but we eventually found another route after leaving. We arrived late, by Austrian standards at 9 a.m. We were hoping for a restaurant in the area because it is quite isolated, but there was no one. The room is clean, but very basic. The staff is average, not especially great. A salt mine is located close to the hotel, open at 9 a.m. worth a visit.

We often stay in this area, particularly in bad inches. We are sick and tired of dirty, dark hotel rooms, high prices, and a rough deal on the whole, and then we found this place! Absolutely fantastic. Clean and tidy, comfortable beds, wonderful food, nice rooms. Simple but very good. Ideal for families, retirees, any person. really well run by someone who clearly knows how to run a hotel. We live in Steiermark, where most of their hotels are. They will see us a lot more frequently in the future.

The Hotel Juma Altausee is clean, the staff is friendly but not strong in English and provides laundry services for less than 6 euros. Now about the location, you have to drive through Altausee, then leave the village, drive through the forest and then arrive after seeing lots of deers and foxes. It's located next to the salt mine. You have to climb stairs to enter the lobby and hotel in general!.

About JUFA Hotel Altaussee

JUFA Hotel Altaussee is located at the foot of the imposing Loser Mountain in the heart of the Ausseerland region in the Salzkammergut. It offers a saltwater steam bath and a sauna area. At the JUFA Altaussee, there is also a café, a sun terrace with mountain views, a playroom and a playground, a cinema, an indoor sports center, and a heated ski and ski boot storage room. WiFi is free of charge in public areas. The impressive Altaussee Salt Worlds, a historic salt mine, are directly opposite. In winter, the slopes of the Loser-Sandling ski area end right next to JUFA Altaussee.
