My buddy miranda and I traveled to Belgium for the wedding of our friend Sara. We had no idea what the event would be like when Sarah, a native, had reserved the venue for us. We arrived late at 11.30 p.m., and were welcomed with open arms and some much-needed refreshments. I believe we were their first visitors from Scotland, and our hosts were thrilled to see us. Miranda and our host both spoke a little French and luckily we both spoke a little English. Miranda was able to use the orthopaedic pillow, but Miranda had a double bed in the poppy chamber and I had the adjacent lavender room with a single bed. I slept soundly. There were numerous thoughtful details in the rooms, including a lot of chocolate. We knew we would be arriving home from the wedding very late. Fresh pastries from the Boulangerie, cheese, saucisson, eggs, and so on were all excellent for breakfast. Our host was eager to demonstrate some regional foods, such as the jellyjam made from reduced pairs and plums, local honey, and a type of rice pudding tart. We enjoyed having a little time outside in the garden, strumming their donkeys, and taking in the sheep and goats. Our host, on the other hand, was exceptionally accommodating and even giving us some snacks for the plane.

If you are traveling to Belgium for a wedding and don't want to camp, this location is around the track and commutes are quite simple. My stay was scheduled by my wife as a surprise for my birthday and also included belgian fi tickets. From the off the place itself is situated in a lovely area and the building itself is quite lovely with a genuine country cottage feel. I was with my 10-year-old son and it was his first time abroad, so I was a bit concerned. We were made to feel so welcome, and nothing was a hassle for Jeannie and her husband. The lodging was roomy and spotless. We had to rise very early every morning to get to the track, and even though I warned Jeannie not to worry about breakfast she was there with a full selection of excellent continental breakfast and fresh coffee, my son especially enjoyed Jennings homemade blueberry muffins! I cannot speak more highly of the lodging or the wonderful couple who run it. If you are visiting Belgium for any reason, I can advise staying here. This location is minutes from the track if you are traveling for a belgian fi and aren't camping, it is quite easy to get around.

This is our last stop on the way back to the ferry at Zeebrugger. I wasn't anticipating much only a place to sleep after a long bike ride, so we stayed here near the conclusion of our motorbike tour of Germany last year. We were provided with orange juice on the terrace and a wealth of English guides for the region. What a lovely warm welcome! First, the balcony served us an aperitif! The three-course menu was a classic Belgian meal prepared to perfection by our lovely hostess, Jeanine. The room was a converted stable, very charming, with its own private door to the outside, and there was a small adjoining room with a single bed perfect for a small family. I believe it would be ideal for self catering as the private dining room next door had a kitchen, so I assume it would be ideal for self catering as well. The stay was exceptional value for money, and our hosts were incredibly friendly. In fact, it was so fantastic that we just booked it again for two nights this time at the conclusion of our tour of France in September. The marine room has a charming, large corner bathroom, which is ideal for two cyclists after a long, dusty journey. So, we are eager to return to stay there, and believe me, we frequently stay in a number of locations while on various excursions.

We came here to stay after a long trip. great place. We liked the design of the room. Great beds, and breakfast is also great, including homemade jelly. Don't forget to visit the donkeys in the backyard.
