This hotel was lovely, it has a great location, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is good, and the staff is helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant twice and the food was delicious. This is a must-visit place for those looking for a great hotel at a very reasonable price.

I've stayed here several times and have compared it before. It has recently been re-visited. I liked it a lot in the previous review and will do so again. The service and food are always good. The room is clean, tidy, and modern. Hope to be back.

I have been here several times and have always been struck by the high quality and freshness of the platters. Fresh local produce and superb preparation make this restaurant a great place for a nice dinner. Love to come here. Just the wines I personally find overpriced, but you are free to take them or not. Good restaurant

I would not hesitate to stay here if I were ever in the Derby area again. I stayed here for one night in June 2018 as part of a business trip to the area of Derby. I also had dinner at the restaurant. Check-out was simple as checking in. Staff took me to my room and showed me how to operate various functions of the room, such as lights, air conditioners, windows, etc. Everything is digitally controlled either by the control units on the walls or by a tablet. The room was nicely furnished with an espresso machine, air conditioning, wifi, and a bathroom with a shower, we, and sink. The bathroom was upstairs on a separate floor, but still private and in the same room in my room. The bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of space for storage underneath the stairs to the bathroom. Important: the hotel car park is around a 5 minute walk away. Parking is nightly and is in a covered parking garage. I also had dinner in the restaurant where there was a good selection of food and drink available and seemed like good value for money. Breakfast was also excellent, with bacon and scrambled eggs. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a big plus! Checkout was as simple as checking in and a detailed itemized receipt was provided.
