Very nice property in an historic building. Definitely an old-school euro-style lodge...a little tired, but very clean and organized. Bathrooms are new and very nice. Showers are hot with good water pressure. Staff is very nice and accomodating. Parking is limited to only four free spaces however. Be warned that driving around Luxembourg is difficult...tight roads with heavy traffic, but there is easy access to the hotel. I would say that this hotel is a good option for families.

We spent two nights here. The rooms were comfortable with two dogs. We ate at the restaurant, the food was good. The location was ideal for walking and getting into the city centre. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

The atmosphere was chilly and muddy, and the views were breathtaking. The bartender and waiter suggested a wonderful local wine for us, and we enjoyed it. We were making reservations for our room through a third party, and when we got there, the gentleman, who I believe was the owner, said he could not find it, but he let us enter our room for a decision to be made the next day by his desk clerk. The housekeeping was satisfactory, and the mattress and clean room were satisfactory. It was a leisurely nine-hour drive. After that, we enjoyed the restaurant a lot. I had a filet de boeuf, and my spouse had a jambock, both of which were delicious! We really liked the excellent local wine suggested by the very friendly bartender and waiter. We had a great time and will come back.

We wanted to have a great luxembourgish meal and my favorite place wasnt taking any more reservations that night, so my laws suggested sieweburen. It is near a hospital in the valley a wonderful location where you can do a beautiful walk through the woods and then eat a traditional luxembourgish meal at the restaurant afterward. Its an old hotel and restaurant I have not stayed in, but the décor in the restaurant needs some updating. The food was good and the portions were decent, but if they reduced their price by 13 I would say it is worth it. There is a small park in front of the restaurant to keep the kids busy while they wait for dinner. There is plenty of parking out front, so unless you are a local and really know the buses walking there would be tough if you do not know Luxburg very well.

Très bon petit déjeuner. Chambre spacieuse et très bonne literie. Facile d'accès, le seul bémol, le parking est payant à partir de 8h. Nous n'étions que de passage et n'avons pas pu profiter du coin environnant ni du repas. L'endroit est très calme ce qui nous a permis de bénéficier d'un bon repos. Je recommande vivement de vous y arrêter.

Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war recht klein, bot aber dennoch Abwechslung und hat uns gut gefallen. Das Hotel selbst liegt super ruhig und idyllisch am Stadtrand. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich zwei Bushaltestellen, so dass man in rund 20 Minuten bis in die Innenstadt kommt. Die Busse fahren auch in einem dichten Takt, das ist sehr bequem und deutlich entspannter, als mit dem Auto in die Stadt zu fahren.

Lovely setting overlooking small park and lovely forest right behind our hotel and directly across the road. 10 minute walk to bus stop for regular service to the city. Very good continental breakfast. Comfortable spacious room with good view, excellent central heating on cold days. Would have been an improvement if tea and coffee making facilities were available when we returned from a busy day sightseeing. Room would have been big enough to have a couple of easy chairs to relax in as hotel did not have a lounge area. There was a smal table with to formal type dining chairs. Table would have fine for tea and coffee making facilities with a couple of easy chairs for relaxing and reading.

Goed en vriendelijk hotel. Mooie locatie net buiten de stad Luxemburg. Kamer wat gedateerd en vrij warm. Badkamer was prima, fijne douche. Prijs relatief hoog echter, onze boeking was incl ontbijt.
