This place is simply beautiful. The view is amazing, the room is amazing, and everything is spotless! The staff is kind and cares a lot about your safety. Breakfast is delicious, and if you can be in the garden in the morning, you can see colorful parrots eating. Highly recommended for your stay in Ilhabela!

I visited Illa Bela with my girlfriend at the carnival and we chose an idr house for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the great choice, since everything was amazingly set up and in-house. The location is ideal too as it is so close to the center and the north of the island! I want to say thank you to all the staff and hope to see you soon

I think this guest house was somewhat new when I visited last year, so the tourist center didn't know anything about it. I felt anxious, but I trekked to the hotel anyway because I had made a reservation, so why not? There it was, on the hill with a small banner reading Idr house so I went in. It was very close to the ferry stop, which was great. It wasn't very close to the town, but you could also walk there on a nice day. The proprietor even drove me to town one night. Owners only speak Portuguese, at least that was it when I was there, but they make an effort to communicate and you can totally get by because I don't speak anything else haha. I think they also speak some Spanish. The room was lovely and clean with the most stunning view. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Im a female traveling alone and loved it and had a fantastic experience. I felt safe and very welcome. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it!.
