The room was clean and the breakfast was excellent at the price. It's as if you've entered a time capsule. The pousada was lovely and gave the sense of another area's flair. The location in the historic center was ideal for walking tours. We were welcomed as friends, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again.

We stayed in a room with a piano. No tuning for around a decade though, I think. The room was very big and a little old but clean. We were unable to use the hot water, but that could be us! Breakfast was served in the old house and the courtyard a nice environment. Hotel is a 510 minute walk from the historic center. Turn right out of the hotel and there is a small square directly across the road with a lively cafe-restaurant feel. Good value.

The room was spacious, and the breakfast was good. This place has an attractive courtyard and is on the outskirts of the old city. The location is near the main sights and it seems to be safe enough to walk during the day.

Nice old house, walk to Pelourinho and a wonderful garden and breakfast area, very relaxing. Breakfast is a great buffet and you can sit on the terrace under the tree. A very nice and friendly owner also!
