All you could possibly need for a pleasant stay were at this hotel. Excellent breakfast was served, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable, with an air conditioner and overhead fan. There are sheltered spots outside where you can unwind and read on rainy days. The staff is friendly and good at English. I also liked that you could fill your own water bottle with potable water. This place is definitely recommended.

I stayed at Pousada for 5 days and enjoyed every second. It's the perfect place in Illa Grande, great location, nice rooms, nice gardens, nice breakfast, and friendly staff. We'll be there the next time too.

We have never been to this place before and I have found the front desk employees to be extremely helpful. The rooms are good for pousadas in town, clean and have a decent shower. The pousada is equipped with a generator, which was necessary when we stayed last, so try and secure a room near the pool to avoid noise, if the generator is required.

The pool was adequate, if not very cold, with the most uncomfortable sun loungers I've ever sat on. It has a lot to offer. However, some of the staff at reception let it down slightly. The breakfast was plentiful and had delicious coffee.
