The hotel is no longer maintained properly. I stayed there a few years ago and it was perfect, it seems like no more money is spent on maintenance. The location is very good, and it's fine if you only stay one night.

As I had only a few hours in Verna, I was given the hotel caprice. However, I had to stay two nights and selected room 51 at the top with a view of the cathedral and surrounding area and a lovely terrace. There was a minifridge, bathroom, and bathroom up a few stairs in the attic, and the beds were less comfortable were two singles. Sadly, I was unable to use the wifi network for 95 of my stays. Given how awful breakfast was, and the owner wouldn't offer me a discount if I stayed longer than a night and were gone, it was awfully awful. When I asked if I could keep my key with me, he became extremely impolite and frightening. But it was strategically located and useful for a brief visit.

We got a pleasant English welcome, and the location is in the city center. There is a lovely cathedral in the area. Unfortunately the parking was not easy. I don't believe the hotel, but the way the town of Verna handles their parking arrangements.

Because the staff is helpful and friendly, it would be unfair to rate this hotel as poor, which is why I have given it 3 star average overall. When we had money and cards stolen in Verna, Basil was quite helpful in contacting our bank for us. A big thank you to him! He is only from the airport, 1 lev 0. 5 euros on bus number 409. Avoid taxi drivers at the airport, they legally rip you off by displaying tariffs three times the normal rate in the car window. But all else about this hotel I have to criticize. I agree with other reviews that the breakfast is subpar. The rooms are small and the walls are thin, so you can hear other guests inside their rooms. I think it is pricey, 60 lev 30 eur for a double room for the overall standard. I won't be coming back, but if you just want a place close to the airport for a one-night stay here, at least you know what you'll get.

We spent several nights at the caprice hotel while on a trip. The hotel was conveniently located a short distance from the main pedestrian street. The room size was quite small and cramped. I think you get what you pay for. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We didn't receive clean towels, and the breakfast included in the room price wasn't excellent bread, processed cheese, commercially packaged chocolate croissants, or instant coffee.
