Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, sehr hilfsbereit. Zimmer bietet alles, was ein Motel benötigt. Trotz nähe zur Straße ist diese kaum zu hören, es war sehr leise. Auf der gegenüber liegenden Seote des Highways ist außerdem ein kleiner See mit Strand.

Check in was quick & friendly. Room was clean & reasonably priced. Convenient location right on highway. There's a fridge & microwave in room which I didn't see in the listing & therefore was a pleasant surprise.

The owners keep this property very clean and well maintained. We stayed only one night, but if our travels bring us back to the north shore of Lake Superior we would stay again and have already recommended it to family and friends. Because the property is a 15 minute drive east of the town of Terrace Bay, it would be great if guests had access to a community barbecue or grilling area. While the property does provide a fridge and microwave (both working and clean!) a means to grill food would be necessary if we were to book a stay of more than a night or two. And the owners ensured that the property was quiet and we had a great night's sleep. This was our second to last night on the road before we reached home after a 6 week, 10,400+ km journey - we stayed at 19 different properties along the way and the Coach House, for its price range and ameneties, was the best one.

Charming motel. Helpful staff. Exceptionally neat and clean. Not near restaurants, so eat elsewhere, but a convenient place to pull off of the Trans-Canada highway. Surprisingly peaceful, with has a nice view. A great place to take a break from driving and have a good nights sleep. We would stay here again.

Our room at the Coach House Motel was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. The only noise we heard was that of the occasional transport truck that passes by every other motel on the trans Canada. We would definitely stay there again when we travel that route.

What an absolute hidden gem!!! Check in was great. I had a big Uhaul truck and arrived late. She knew i was tired and came out with a flashlight and helped me park. They sent me straight to bed haha. Thank you so much. If you are evwr looking for a quiet place to stay on your travels. I highly recommend the Coastal house. P.S. so peaceful and quiet, first time i have seen the milky way in a long time.

I booked the Coach House Motel for 1 night and ended up staying longer. The owners are super friendly, the rooms spotless and the beds extremely comfortable. The location is quiet and convenient to everything I wanted to do and see. I plan to return next year.

It was a very cute motel, very clean. You could tell that management tried to make it very attractive. There were little yellow flowers in the window boxes, 2 pairs of slippers for guests and eyelet bed skirts. The sheets were smooth and looked pressed. My only slight disappointment was, there were not enough plug outlets for charging devices for 2 people. Overall a nice stay!
