This is a fantastic place to stay during my holiday break. My room has a breathtaking view and a spotless stay. The good thing about this place is the friendly service and helpfulness of the staff.

On our way back to Vancouver Island in early October 2022, we stayed for one night. The coquihalla offers a superb location with very easy access. There are also several places nearby to eat, get groceries, get gas, etc. It takes about five minutes to drive to downtown Merit. Checking in was simple. Our suite was on the fourth story. The unit featured a kingsize bed and a lot of space. Common conveniences like a refrigerator and microwave. The restroom was pleasant as well, with plenty of towels and toiletries. We only had a shower, but that was fine for one night and it was a great shower. The hallways and room were very quiet. We dont know if we are neighbors or not. They provide a fantastic free breakfast with plenty of variety. Eggs and then omelets, sausages were served the morning we were there. In addition, they provided cereal, yogurt, baked goods, various juices, and hot beverages. They have employees who are working on the pipeline and highways there, and they were the only ones in the breakfast room and they were exceptionally quiet. Without a doubt, we would return.

I had a good experience on my journey, I checked out an empty keg brewery for the first time. At the counter where the menu and beverage options are displayed, drinks and food are ordered. For a flight of 5, there are too many choices. The husband ordered his favorite before I even had time to give it in because we were travelling in tandem. It's good that he enjoys some of the beers. We had hot pretzels with dips and a charcuterie table supplied. Three of them were delicious hot pretzels. The charcuterie board was attractive, well-made, and available in a variety of items, including salami, cheese, nuts, olives, pickled vegetables, and several types of crackers. Delicious beer. There are several games on a bookcase that you can bring to your table to play. A table for poker, cards, and chips is available. A great place to unwind. I would absolutely return for a visit.

I stayed here for over a week and felt at home. The staff are great, the room and the whole hotel are in great condition. Housekeeping staff was always asking me if I need anything which was very nice. I enjoy the hot tub and pool. I will be back.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very professional and helpful. Everything was great. The quiet location near the excellent restaurant called Game On and easy access to the highways. The best hotel with merit.
