It was a fantastic experience, but a little bit risky. But, the danger was well taken. This is a remote lakeside forest adventure zone. Although there are classes for children as young as 9, I would recommend them for 12 and up. A stunning backcountry drive will take you there in 20 minutes from Mount Jolt. A helpful and well-trained guide. Use safety equipment to climb a ladder and clip onto ropes. Climb through various wood and cable obstacles. There are quite a few short zip lines and a large one at the end. You should be in good shape to go and not fearful or have vertigo.

We stayed upstairs with a bathtub and shower in-house. The owner and staff made sure we were welcomed. There are comfortable chairs to relax before dinner when the fire is burning in the main area. The meals were excellent and the timing was scheduled. The location is close to the main trail and well marked making it easy to find. Located on a lake surrounded by hills.

Because of a summer festival the same weekend we drove through this area, we were unable to find accommodations around Rimouski, so we booked Domain Volga, which was barely out of our way. As a result, we had very low expectations. Fortunately, booking the chalet rossignol for 9 people. But, booking 10 at Domain Volga was one of the best decisions we made in three weeks of a queen road trip. The chalet was lovely, clean, and wellappointed. The lake, rowboats, paddle boats, and kayaks entertained five kids happily. Not to mention a very extensive zip line and ropes course on-site! Our children, ages 8, 12, 13, 14 and 16, were in heaven! The property owner was friendly and made sure there was dinner even though we hadnt asked for it in advance. The wife and kids and other employees were also kind and accommodating. Doing their best to speak English and ensure we had everything we could want. This is a property that aims to please families and we would heartily recommend it!.
