This place is ideal for those looking to escape the bustle of city life for a calm, relaxing getaway. Golden pathways sits on a large open parcel of land with numerous trees and a beautiful zen garden with soothing sounds of water flowing in. The owner, Cora, is a lovely host who took the time to sit with us and engage in fascinating conversation. The breakfast is quite tasty! You are surrounded by peace and beautiful views and served on the outdoor patio on the second story. among other things homemade rhubarb puree, tossed greens with hints of mint and basil, delectable eggs, and a fantastic fresh fruit salad. The presentation was also meticulously designed. We stayed in a tiny but spacious room with twin beds, a closet, free WiFi, and a door leading to the outdoor patio on the ground floor with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the view and fresh air. In the event that we arrived, the bride informs us that all the hotels would be sold out because of a tournament that was going on in town three months later. We started to look for other alternatives after I found out that she was correct. The golden pathways were booked because Cora and her bride wanted to try our first possible and use more rural lodging to enjoy the rest we could. Cora was not able to keep up with the wedding, but she did not make the dial! The large ferndale room was lovely, and the adjoining bathroom was nice, with a wet bathtub. I wish I had the time to try it. The common area, extra-large kitchen, outdoor area, and grounds were a perfect marriage of comfort and nature. Excellent coffee, market-fresh fruit, and food from coral's gardens were the ingredients for breakfast the following morning on the deck exceeded all expectations. After the wedding, after speaking with friends who stayed at a few different hotels in town, they all thought it was unacceptable not to think twice about it because they were disappointed by their hotel experiences. We will certainly be back, but we are on vacation so we can take the time to discover more of what the area has to offer. cora, thanks!.

My wife and I reserved two nights at Golden Paths early in August. Everything met our expectations. Big hosts, spotless, bright rooms, great, exquisitely prepared breakfast on the first morning outside patio. After a thunderstorm on our second night, the region experienced a power outage. Our ever-so-reliable hostess, Cora, gave us battery-powered candles to illuminate all common areas and a few extras for our room. Cora and Dave managed to prepare a nutritious, delicious, and healthy breakfast using cold ingredients while the electricity had not been restored by morning. Our verdict? Even during a power outage, you know you are in a good place if you feel secure and secure. Four thumbs up!.

After a wonderful evening at Ith Line Theater, we stayed here with friends for the night. Cora and David, our friendly hosts, were warm but not intrusive. We had one of three tranquility rooms, each of which was beautiful decorated. Three rooms are contained by two bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen with a stove and refrigerator is located on the same floor. A table and chairs that are completely furnished with linens, dishes, and microwave for large and small groups are also available. The kitchen is a sizable gathering or meeting area that is also outside. A small pond with goldfish appears to be a pleasant surprise when the flowing water garden has ended in a tiny pool. You can enjoy your outdoor enjoyment by hanging baskets of flowers and a cozy table and chairs. My husband and I had a very comfortable king-size bed. Garments were available for use in the closet. The following morning, brunch was served on the rooftop terrace. Again beautifully arranged and delicious. Excellent diversity and done well.

The atmosphere is quiet and inviting, and the hosts are also kind. The hotel is comfortable and clean, and a great breakfast was served. It's funny to see cows in the fields surrounding the hotel. 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Peterborough.
