The hotel has a good location, right off the highway and has easy access. The room is clean, and the staff is friendly. The hot breakfast is very good. The area is nice for evening strolls and lots of parking.

We would definitely stay here again. We loved this hotel and would pick it again in the future for our trip to ac. The hotel was great value. The rooms were spacious and with enough room to put everything. The hotel has easy access to highways 20 and 73, which take about 15 to 20 minutes to travel to the old town. Chaudiere falls is only about 5 minutes away. There are several restaurants in the neighborhood, and they all look great. We only tried the Cocoon, a restaurant that is attached to the hotel, and it was delicious. Shopping Palmar, etc. takes about 510 minutes. Down the street is a gas station and a Tim Hortons. Hotel parking is free. Breakfast in the hotel was great, great coffee, bagels, and waffles. They rotate their meats and eggs like most chains. Our room's wifi worked quite well. The rooms were very quiet and clean. There is a small pool and a small commissary in the lobby. Checking out was quick and we liked the employees. We enjoyed staying in this peaceful hotel away from the city center, and we will be back.

No hot water in the rooms on the first floor. The hotel moved me to the right under but still no hot water. The hotel manager called to offer me an upgrade to a larger room on the first floor, but no guarantee of hot water. I declined because it wasn't solving the issue and I was already settled. I said if she could first go check to make sure there was a hot shower in the room, they planned to move me to, but I never heard back. Water marks on the counter and on the desk where the lamp is. Wifi is not hilton honors, but hilton guest, similar to Marriott, with similar problems like that of the Marriott yet showing an unsecure network, the novel is the wifi login landing page instead of hilton honors. The room was dark and had only one light. The good thing is the staff was polite one of the few hotels where housekeeping did a wonderful job. Unfortunately, it is unsatisfactory due to a lack of hot shower, which is part of standard expected service and the main reason for a 2-star rating. Had it provided a hot shower, not cold or warm, but hot, this hotel would have earned at least a 4 or 4 star rating.

This hotel is a bit dated. The staff was great. The room was clean. I wanted to put the bed on our roof rack for the trip. The hotel situation is very quiet, except for the odd motorcycle. One drawback was that the bath seat would only fit sideways and the soap and shampoo dispensers were hidden behind you.

I highly recommend this hotel. We booked this hotel as a stopover. We stayed one night. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast in the morning is delicious and has something for everyone.
