Beautiful hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. The food was excellent when we ate in the room. Excellent facilities are provided. There is a beautiful lake with a beach in the summer and an ice rink in the winter, as well as a sports complex with full-time boxing and rock climbing equipment. I also suggest that there is a full spa on site.

This is not our first stay at this hotel, but on Labor Day weekend it is usually the best available. It has the potential to be one of the best hotels in the area but something is missing. I had paid in advance and on arrival I was instructed to produce a credit card, but not for additional costs. I was told that if I broke something during my stay the hotel intended to charge the damages to the card after I had left. They refused to give me my final bill for the room until they examined the room and refused my offer to wait. I still await the bill two days later. We were promised a late checkout the evening before we left by Jeremy at the front desk, but the cleaning ladies were at the door at normal checkout time. When we asked them to come back later we received an unpleasant telephone call from the front desk. The only reason they got an overall very good rating is that they weren't price gouging, like one of their competitors, and the room was spotless.

The location of the hotel is close to the city center of Thetford and close to an excellent location. The hotel is one of the top choices in the area. The first visit was in 2018 when it was still being built. I just spent two nights at the hotel du Domain in Thetford Mines, Queen. The hotel is enormous and has a convention center, an attached summer entertainment center, and a spa. My problems began right away after I checked in. There should be plenty of staff available to assist guests when I arrived around 430 p.m., so there should be plenty of staff ready to assist visitors. The front desk was indistinguishably long to check in, but I must have waited more than 20 minutes, which is not acceptable when I was only in line. I also discovered that I wasnt given my breakfast certificates, which were included in the room rate at check-in, which created some issues. My room was a large winged room on the first level. The accommodations furnishings are modest and contemporary, but they are adequate. The wifi was fast and free, and there are plenty of outlets for charging devices. The restroom is also large but pretty sparse, with towels and other items in an odd location without many places to hang wet towels. I was astonished by the absence of water in the rooms. The shower wasn't the strongest or warmest in the morning.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. On the first glance, the hotel looked very nice, but the finish isn't particularly well done. The wall and insulation are not excellent. We could hear the people above us and the people using the stairs behind us clearly.
