I recently had dinner at Langdon Hall with a family and I am just giving you my highest recommendation. The food was amazing, a visual and sensory feast with every bite on the plate packed with delicious flavor and impeccable seasoning. The portions were slightly smaller than what we might be used to, but after the meal you feel full and not overstuffed. From check-in to check-out, everyone was pleasant, attentive, and also very personable. The meal service is first-rate, with all entrees being prepared in one piece, which is a lovely touch. The linens and beds are extremely comfortable, with the highest quality sheets and towels. The dining area also allows corkage, which is appreciated. The grounds, gardens, bike paths, and pool are beautiful and ideal for a bike ride or a lovely walk. The spa provides excellent massages, a lovely hot tub, steam room, and sauna shared kitchen. The house is gorgeous, and there are several lovely sitting areas where you can sit and enjoy a drink or a game of backgammon. Having eaten at many top restaurants, I can say that the meal at Langdon Hall is among the best and should not be forgotten shortly. If there is one area that needs improvement, I would suggest making sure the rooms have genuine cream or milk to enjoy with coffee and breakfast service is a bit slow, but we didn't have anywhere to rush to

Langdon Hall is a delightful and quiet inn where couples and friends gather. Service is impeccable, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The services, including the spa, were top notch. Good walking and hiking routes. And the food was delicious and beautifully prepared, especially the new fall menu we stayed two nights and they changed from summer to autumn menu for dinner.

I've actually eaten at Langdon Hall four or five times, and we've kept coming back for many reasons. The last time, last night for dinner, was less appealing. Getting rid of the bad points here, the staff is helpful and courteous. The atmosphere is opulent and cozy. The truffle soup as our appetizer was wonderful. Every bite was delicious. This time, for the first time, I found our main dish to be subpar. I had spring chicken. It was good, but unlike my entrees, it didn't delight or amuse me. We also complained about the quantity of the main dish. Although we are aware that fine dining signifies smaller portions, we never thought they were too small. There was a significant difference in the quantity of the food on my plate. Will I have more? Another issue I noticed was the service flow. Each course was given exactly when I wanted it! After a few minutes to appreciate the newly eaten course and empty the pallet, the next course was delivered. The execution was flawless. There were lengthy gaps in between courses this time. Something I have never experienced in Langdon Hall before. For all of these reasons, it might be time to locate a new fine dining restaurant for special occasions. I am.

Langdon Hall has many wonderful aspects to offer. Generally, it is hard to live up to the hype. The accommodations are tidy and roomy. A single phone uncovered a malfunctioning fridge, and a new one was delivered within a matter of hours. The room is traditional countrymodern design. No complaints. Room. On the lower level, there is one king, a couch, and a fireplace. Those looking for a peaceful, spacious place to live in are happy with the surroundings. trails, experiences, and a pool are all nearby. The meal was excellent! Again, it was fantastic. Worth every cent. The entire dining experience was excellent. Every person we encountered was friendly, proficient, and knowledgeable. We preferred a diary and gluten-free diet, which was unavoidable. The restaurant is well-deservedly given its recognition nationally for its exceptional quality. The ideal location to chill out or hike, bike, move, or find a quiet rural setting to read a book in or read a book is langdon Hall.
