What stood out is the amazing warm welcome from Kimmie, James and Chester (their 4-legged ambassador and greeter) to their wonderful Inn. Breakfasts were yummy (we stayed 3 nights!), and we felt very much attended to and embraced.

The Rose room was well appointed and looked recently renovated. Kimmie was an excellent host (and her partner) and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and she was kind enough to have it ready a bit earlier than for the other guests. The electric fireplace was a nice touch on a cold night!

Cute and cozy historic inn. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The owners are lovely and hospitable; they make a mean breakfast sandwich, with a delicious side of stewed fruit and sweet yogurt. Easy 20 minute drive into Elora.

The room was very clean and well stocked with necessary amenities. Breakfast was home made and very delicious and filling. The owners were very friendly and the family pet (Chester) was very friendly. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

The Sage Room was a very comfortable and clean room. The electric fireplace was cozy, and we appreciated the TV had access to all the streaming services. The breakfast was a delicious open-faced breakfast sandwich with a toasted croissant, crispy bacon, lettuce and tomato with a fried egg and hollandaise sauce. The homemade strawberry compote on top of plain yogurt was a delicious finish. The coffee was good, but it would have been better if it was hotter.

Our hosts, radiant Kimmie and gracious James, were the heart of this experience. Kimmie welcomed us like family, her thoughtful touches making every moment sparkle. The inn’s ambassador Chester, adds coziness with his quiet furry affection. Breakfast was divine. Golden crepes and crisp bacon, served with heartfelt care. We were mortified after spilling wine on the carpet, but Kimmie and James responded with grace. Caring only for our comfort and suggesting we contribute what felt fair. A rare gesture of trust. Our stay was too short but left a lasting mark. This inn weaves history, comfort, and unparalleled hospitality into a perfect tapestry. Already we're dreaming of our return. If you seek a warm, 5+ star stay, this masterpiece is unmatched. We’ll be back!

My husband and I stayed at the Maryhill Inn for the Enchanta event and to celebrate our anniversary. We loved our stay at the inn. It's a really cool old building that has modern upgrades in the rooms. The room was comfortable and the best part about the stay was the delicious breakfast! The breakfast served was better than most breakfast places I've gone to.

My husband and I stayed here together with two other couples as we were visiting Elora (about 20 minutes away) for an autumn weekend. We had a wonderful night's sleep in the Rose Room thanks to the quiet surroundings and soft bedding. The gas fireplace added a cozy touch. Our breakfast sandwich and yogurt with strawberries was the perfect amount to get us back on the road. Excellent French press coffee too! And...we loved playing with Chester the dog too!

Kimmie is the owner. She has worked hard to maintain the B and B keeping the place neat and comfortable the rooms clean the setting pleasant. As mentioned by the other reviewers the breakfast is awesome. This is almost a 200-year-old house predating the country of Canada. We came to enjoy the venue and we're not surprised. Give me is working to improve the house and my suspicion is over time it'll be even more impressive

Very nice old building (mid 1800s if I recall correctly), different themed rooms. Hostess was wonderful, very welcoming and kind and made us a great breakfast in the morning. Enjoyed our stay, would stay there again if up in that area!
