My husband jokes that he likes motels because of their color, but even with lower expectations, this one was disappointing. Only recommend if there are no other affordable options. The cost of a standard room for two nights was more than $400. The bed was ok, and the pillows were cheap like those you would find in the spare room of someone who doesn't want you to get too comfortable. The bathroom fan was loud, the toilet ran and the bathroom light was only functioning if you took it apart and played with the fluorescent tube. And loud! Om. A previous reviewer commented that truck traffic began at 430 a. M. He didn't mention that street noise doesn't stop until at 230. Worst was the smell of mold on the carpets. We had to keep the patio screen open day and night without AC. Additionally, the rooms are not cleaned during our stay, but an envelope on the bedside table invites a gratuity for room cleaning! But we truly wanted to go whale watching. It was wonderful seeing the whales, and we were grateful to locate a place to stay. In addition, the neighboring bakery, which opens at 630 am. I., was a pleasure.

We recently stayed two nights in a standard room with a ground-floor patio. The front desk staff was very helpful and recognized my French was poor. Our room was very clean, but the only drawback was that we had to move the fridge to reach the only accessible power outlet, which wasn't a big deal. The ceiling fan was a bit noisy, there was no aircon and no windows that could be opened. The ground-floor patio door prevented us from always keeping curtains closed for privacy. Lashings of hot water, possibly hot. Although the bed was standard, without a pillow top, it was still quite comfortable. To only have French channels. The booking service commented on road noise in the economy room but not in the room we booked. However, since the structure is only a room deep, the road noise from the trucks heading to and from the ferry is inevitable for all rooms. Maybe ground floor rooms experience less noise than the upper rooms whatever, it starts around 4. Bring earplugs if you think it will be annoying. The motel is the furthest from the viewing rocks, about 1 12 km away from the viewing rocks. Parking is frequently limited throughout town, so be prepared to walk up and down a couple of steep hills.

Located at the end of the main road running through the town. Conveniently located next to the all office and opposite the pick up point. The room had a small kitchenette which was well equipped. Breakfast was not available. Plenty of restaurants were also down the road along with a supermarket. A 1015 minute walk away. Nice cosy clean room. Parking was available front and back.

It was quiet because we had a room in the front, far from the highway traffic and in the back. The portable AC unit, which was much appreciated because of the intense 35 Centigrade heat, but was invariably noisy, was also very functional and well-equipped. The location on the main road was perfect as it was 10 minutes from the harbor and less than 5 minutes from the restaurants and shops. Parking is complimentary.

We only spent one night there because we had planned to see the whales the next day and leave. The good part is that they didnt pay our deposit, but they kept the room for us anyway. For a motel, the rooms are decent. Modern bathrooms. The room is clean. The staff is friendly and makes an effort to speak English. Motel conveniently located on foot. Parking places. The bad bed is hard. Outside is sneezing. No air conditioning. The hallway is all pink! No fire exit signs behind the rooms doors. Uneven floors in the hallway. To screen smaller than a laptop. The place is nice for a motel. However, if we knew, we would have paid $40 more for the night and stayed in the citys more luxurious hotel.
