We absolutely loved this cozy stay. At first glance we were unsure, it was right off the highway and had no AC but we loved this spot. We were traveling from Ottawa - Perce with many stops in between and this was one of them on the way. We arrived tired and with an empty cooler so we had to drive to Tadoussac for dinner, it was only 10min away but we got to see whales right from the shore and enjoy this town better travelled by foot. It's a bear sanctuary so you can be guided to visit the black bears and the staff was so friendly and inviting.

Very quaint, quiet, clean, and lovely location. (notes to consider below) Private lodge all to yourself! 6-minute drive to Tadoussac, and lots of nature trails in the area. *no access to internet, phone, or cellular service -> this place is nestled between two mountains. *Bring bottled water because it's not potable there.

Our stay was excellent! We got an amazing deal through the motel for a whale watching tour, found our room very cozy and roomy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Our stay at chalet Cardinal was 2 nights for 5 people. The place is close to the lake. And that is also the closest one. What a wonderful experience to be alone at night. And the black bear.

In September 2017, we went to the Forvoirie Lacs Aimmy, which is close to Tadoussac village. The scenery is wonderful, with lush forest with pine, spruce, and birch trees as well as lakes. In Pourvoirie, we had no trouble sleeping. We went there because we wanted to see black bears. Our local guide had a huge amount of knowledge about the fauna and flora. He was enthusiastic and informed us everything we needed to know about black bears. Our guide took us to a feeding area where black bears visit once a day at sunset. We saw a mother black bear with her 2 cubs and males. We were fortunate to encounter timid mooses as well. It was a wonderful experience!.

We spent 2 nights in the hendrix cabin with a group of 6 adults. It is a wonderful place to stay with a larger group. You have your own lake with rowboats out in the forest, fully furnished kitchen, solar powered lights, hot water, gas powered fridge and stove. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but with all the amenities you need to bring your own drinking water. The cabin was clean and well equipped although the bedrooms were a bit crowded with lots of beds. The cabin we stayed in sleeps up to 22 people. We enjoyed cooking fires in the fire pit by the lake in the evening and roasting marshmallows. Tadoussac is only a few minutes drive away. Perfect for city folk who want to experience nature. We regret not booking 2 nights because we could easily stayed for a week.

We just went for a quick getaway before returning to school. We had nothing but joy in lacs a jammy! They were nicely furnished, extremely clean, and very peaceful. Although there were only four individuals, two adults and two children, our cottage, the Moreau, could easily have accommodated ten people with all of the bunk beds. We had three free boat choices for our stay, including a row boat, paddle boat, and kayak. The house was around 10 feet from the breathtaking it. Thomas lake, and we were given three free boat choices: rowboat, paddle boat, and kayak. You must also rent a pod if you want to use a boat, but they are available for $ 5 each for the entire stay at the front desk. Our cottage shared two other cottages that were close enough for you to go fishing with other families, participate in all activities together, and have your own sleeping and washing up. There is no wifi and cell coverage in these cottages, and there is no standard electricity. They also include propane appliances, and solar-powered lighting, so if you don't run them out, you will be fine. This was ideal for us. On our way into town, we checked our emails once or twice a day, otherwise, we felt totally free of all electronic devices. My kids were having a great time fishing, but they skipped rocks, played cards, and other activities

Very quiet, clean, only a few minutes from town. No wifi, coffee, soap, shampoo. There is no cell phone service, so wifi would be nice. It wasn’t that big of a deal for 1 night. This is a quiet place to sleep.
