In July 2022, we spent five days in a four-bedroom apartment at the Mount Itvincent residence. Although the physical layout of the apartment was appropriate and the view was stunning, it was unclean. The pillows were lumpy, and the linens were not changed as per the stated schedule. Despite the fact that the front desk personnel was unable to assist us, the housekeeping personnel pushed to locate some proper dishes and a dishtowel when the cleaning crew did not assist us. This property is in no way advisable as it requires some serious renovations and repair. There were only four thin dollorama plastic dishes and four large spoons, no Kleenex, and the stove fan wouldn't shut off. The carpet was stained and the pillows were unkempt. There were no pots to use as a lid, a dish rack to dry dishes, a coffee maker, and a kettle in the kitchen. We slept in several offices and monasteries across the globe, and this was by far the worst. Because it requires some serious cleaning and updating to make it comfortable, we cannot endorse this home.

We selected this hotel for our trip to Nova Scotch because it was inexpensive and attractive. Sadly, we were unable to take the journey as two family members became ill. The svu team allowed us to first reschedule our reservation and the second time, they allowed us to cancel the reservation, although we were not entitled to it both times. Given our circumstance, they went above and beyond to cooperate with us. Communication was prompt and useful both times. Because of this, whenever we travel to Nova Scotch next, I'd first look for their properties before considering other options. These guys were exceptional because of the excellent customer service I value.

This hotel has a great price and is clean. Although the rooms are small, the view of the bay is spectacular. It is also conveniently located near the city. Every morning there's free coffee. It was also cheaper to buy food in the fully equipped kitchen. I will be staying here again in the future.

The location is nice, also the atmosphere is very calm. The room here is quite spacious with a large common area that makes us comfortable. The location is spotless, not cramped. The room we were given was very suitable for us four. We had a four-bedroom apartment with privacy and comfort and is nice to relax in.
