This was a very comfy little place with great staff. Beach was 1 block away. The pool was covered up but i think this was because of lack of use as its the off season and there was alot of construction dust.

El lugar era excelente. El único detalle, pero entendemos que era provisorio y no depende de ellos, era que estaban haciendo el pavimiento de una calle contigua por lo que había ruido por trabajos durante la mañana. Lo demás todo excelente, buena ubicación, habitación cómoda para la familia, limpieza excelente, amabilidad del personal.

La estadía estuvo muy relajante y placentera, lugar muy tranquilo con personal muy amable, solamente falta completar la vajilla de la cocina (fuentes para ensalada, tabla de picar, colador, fósforos para encender la cocina), detallitos que hacen falta cuando uno necesita preparar algo para comer.

The room was comfortable and spacious. Parking was like in an American motel. The furniture was a bit fragile. A chair collapsed while I was placing my shoes! An issue with automatic alternating water temperature was immediately fixed by the staff, and they said no issue. The water temperature worked well for the rest of my stay. Compared to other hotel breakfasts, the variety was sparse, but it tasted good.

The price was reasonable. We got a comfortable cabin for 4 people. The location was great, it's clean and the people are friendly. The breakfast is adequate. The coffee is instant and we have to ask for milk.

This place is close to the beach. We found a good manager who welcomed us. The cabana was spacious and spotless. We had breakfast included which was simple yet tasty. In the evening, they offer an evening walk or even chuck e cheese.

The hotel is a stone's throw from the beach, which has a very active and bustling boardwalk, and the property was quite charming. The private cabana was fantastic. They were at least in ours equipped with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen with everything you need, a dining and living room, and a balcony. It had a very spacious feel. It was July, and it was incredibly chilly at night, and only a tiny fireplace did little to make a difference, so the property provided us with space heaters in the bedrooms, which was a lifesaver! We had a wonderful time!.

I visited La Serena, Chile recently for the July 2 solar eclipse. We stayed at the Mar Serena Hotel and Cabana. The stay was quite pleasant. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff and a delicious included breakfast. Within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants. Minimal odds and ends next door. Short drive to the shopping complex and the airport. Would recommend Mar Serena to anyone looking for a place to stay in La Serena.

An older property but updated bathrooms and kitchens. A nice alternative to the high rise hotels yet close to the beach and restaurants. The manager is fluent in English and was very helpful.
