The rooms are cold, the furnishings are terrible, and the hosts can't speak a word of English and only accept pesos for cash. The bed sheets seem to be dirty. Breakfast is not included, and you have to pay an additional fee. The advantage is that there is a kitchen and water, plus sugar is free. Probably this is a boon for locals and those who work in the city.

The hostel is a little out of the city center a 10-minute walk but very close to the bus terminals 3 blocks which is very convenient and an inexpensive choice for the same quality. A very friendly family runs the place, and the room is comfortable. The breakfast is also generous with fresh fruit salad. A very nice budget option for Valpi!.

Our only overnight stay here didn't bother us about where we stayed, but this hostel did an excellent job. Our big double room was a tor and a comfy bed. At night, it was nice and quiet. The shared bathroom was a touch antiquated but it had hot water and everything worked fine. The kitchen isn't big, but we used it to cook a microwave dinner and ate at the table in our room. Breakfast wasn't special but everything we required. Wi-Fi was adequate throughout the hostel and the city center was only a short walk away. The staff was friendly and helpful but didn't speak much English.

If you are visiting Valpi for one night, this is a good option. It is not in the heart of Valpi but is located in the area near the bus station. The host is amazing, she gave us advice on how to use the local bus to Via Del Mar. The communal kitchen is amazing. Breakfast includes fruit!

This is a beautiful hostel that can be reached on foot in 5 minutes from the bus stop in the city center of Valparaiso. It is not the best area of the city, but we enjoyed our stay here because it is close to the bus stop, metro if you want to travel to Via Del Mar and many elevators. The rooms here are spacious and the breakfast is good.
