Due to the proprietor coming to the bus stop and escorting us to the hostel to examine, we remained here for a few nights. Pros: the hostel is within walking distance of the bus stop. Although the hostel is only a 10-minute walk from the center, the hotel does not provide heating or heating, and almost all hostels in Alabama don't have such amenities. It is the happiest of all hostels in the state, though. The most spacious and heated common area in the city center is the hostel balcony. The communal area is huge and well-kept. TripAdvisor's images of the kitchen are clearly outdated. Now, the kitchen and common area are both indoors, which I believe is far superior than before. Good-maintained and spotless space. The welcoming proprietor does not speak English, but this is not essential since more than everyone else in town, especially those on tour companies, speaks excellent English. The hostel is about a 10-minute walk from the center, and it has no heat or air conditioning, but almost every hostel in Alabama has such amenities. The kitchen is optimal, but it can quickly become crowded if a few more people cook at once.

If you like it primitive, this is the place to be. I had cell number 4 no room, no heating, no water, no toilet. WiFi fine, 5 minute walk to the centre. Mini market around and more nearby. Cozy and dusty little town

I really enjoyed this location. Some rooms are shared, some have private bathrooms. Very clean, and the rooms are cleaned every night. Breakfast is good, and there is a kitchen for shared use, which is great. Plus, the location is great, as it's a bit outside the city center so you can walk to the main street in 510 minutes, the yard where all the rooms are are in is really cute, and the kitchenware is nice too.

This is a beautiful, quiet place, the place is close to the center, but not in the center's bustle. The lady at the reception was very helpful. The room size is small, maybe 12 rooms. It's close to the bus stop. This place is wonderful. The room cleanliness is very nice and large.

A very nice hostel in a great town. The room was cozy, but the wifi could not reach our private room. However, the dining room was cool enough to relax in. Breakfast was great, and we were able to book extra nights on a tight deadline. Nice and accommodating staff. Near the bus station and city center.
