On a recent work trip, I stayed at the China Pearl and was really pleasantly pleased when I checked in. The main rooms are at the rear of the hotel and accessible via a path under the hotel. Be cautious because the roof is only 62 feet high and a little closter-phobic. The room I chose was reasonably priced at rmb 388 and exceptionally spacious, with a really spacious and comfortable bed. The atmosphere was bright and striking. The restroom was very large, with a full circular bath and a shower in front of the bath with an odd shower head but excellent hot water pressure. The Chinese restaurant offered great wild rabbit, chicken, and pork at the Guangdong fair. The cuisine was excellent in a stunning room with fantastic decor. Of course, it also has an atv, a spa, and a foot massage if you so choose. Breakfast was disappointing, just because the coffee was cold. Otherwise, it was quite ok. I would advise staying there if in Del La Villa.
