This hotel is excellent by Chinese standards. Every foreigner should be fine staying here. Excellent pool, very good spa, and great restaurants. I would stay here anytime. You can come with your family and it will still be very good to host a full family.

In this case I was quite pleasantly surprised. The room was of very high quality, the bathroom and the facilities were very high quality. A few cigarette burns on the carpet, but otherwise a very good stay. Highly recommend.

I was not sure what to anticipate from this hotel, as noted by some other reviews. Im not sure what to anticipate from this hotel since it was my first trip to China. As opposed to some minor language barriers for Englishspeaking guests, the hotel itself was of excellent quality, making it extremely simple to get what you wanted here. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone understood everything. The room was nicely furnished and quite spacious. Everything was fitted in without tripping over, and I had my bike with me. The bathroom was lovely, and it was tidy and tidy. There were a few minor aches and bruises, like cigarette burns in the carpet or the occasional rip in a drape, but otherwise, it was nice, and unless you are so precious, things like that should not bother you. Its not your highend Westernized 5-star hotel, but it is pleasant anyway. The groundfloor restaurant served a great breakfast with a nice selection of both local and international food. Several nights and days, I went about the citys neighborhood and had a great time. The city is truly a really cool place, and the inhabitants seemed so lovely. The hotel is directly across from a sizable open square, where people would gather for dance and other events every night. A fun location, Id suggest this hotel to anyone.

I will definitely return!. We threw our wedding at the Guanfang Hotel in Yuan province, my wife's home town. Im German and brought 10 friends with me for the festivities. All of them unanimously raved about how much they loved this hotel. So I can all around recommend it. Check-out was easy, a local was with us. But even without, one of the ladies at the reception spoke very well English and promptly handled all requests of our group. The rooms are very spacious, well-equipped, and have a stunning view. Bathroom and shower are quite clean and large. The lobby has baked goods that are great snacks in between meals. We celebrated in the grand ballroom with 240 guests and had a wedding ceremony that was perfectly orchestrated. Im sure the hotel played its part to make it such a success.
