This hotel is designed well, this hotel also looks lovely with decorations on the christmas day and also it's welcoming to the end of year festivities. I had a great party with my friends at Uni. A stylish place to hang out on dates.

Checking in took forever, despite several people waiting, and only one member of staff working. It seemed impossible to get a cleaning service for the room. Fortunately, I had previously stayed in China in 2014 or so. But this time, it turned out to be a havoc. No basic English terms should be understood by the personnel at the front desk. The front desk is essentially unreliable. In China, it isn't even respectable for a business hotel. Ive stayed in inexpensive hotels where the staff is better versed. After calling one, nothing. I went to the front desk and asked. Nothing. I finally had to take a picture of a stack of blankets on the bed before they understood and sent someone. I realize it's China, but clean rooms and housekeeping should be essential terms for a business hotel in the financial district. The check-out process took more than 30 minutes. One female employee at the reception couldn't figure out how to refund my deposit on their credit card machine, so it took more than 30 minutes and finally a supervisor's involvement to finish it.

This is the first time I have visited Damian. I had a bad experience at this motel during my stay in the city. The motel is outdated and in dire need of substantial renovation throughout. English is not very spoken despite the fact that it is a American chain. Breakfast and evening menu choices are subpar, despite rapid room service. The room is fairly large, and the air conditioning works fine, but it is antiquated, as are the bathroom and shower pressure. The wifi is also outdated, making it unsuitable for evening conference calls with the west. Damian has significantly better choices. Ive written one in the past and have given it good reviews. Ill be back the following time!.
