The service here was good but the food here was poor. Room service is also not good. The climate is also hot and I can't sleep at night.

I stayed here for two nights in March 2015. I'm used to traveling on a budget and had been in Nepal for two weeks already, so I'm well-aware of the usual power outages and a lack of hot water. But all of the rooms I've ever had were exceptionally clean, and the service was excellent. I anticipated pampering myself with this more expensive hotel, which was almost four times the cost of any other location I stayed in while on a journey. What a letdown! First off, the room was spacious, and the air conditioner was working. The negative aspect was that the staff at the restaurant and reception were not only rude but dismissive and did not appear to smile or offer good service. For example, I waited for my meal for an hour, and even my drink I had to wait ten minutes because the staff was conversing with one another and couldn't even come up to pick up the bottle and pour me a drink while I was dining. I had promised to pay a fair amount of money to cover the bill but it was not done and I had to wait a while for someone to check me out. Due to the extremely high service fee, which isn't listed on the menu and was completely unjustified given the terrible service. I complained and only received a shrug and a you pay now comment. The location of this resort is near the Mayadevi temple entrance. And, the place was so good because the facilities here were very clean, plus the staff was very helpful.

It is close to the Maya Devi Temple. The room was big but dirty the air conditioning only worked when the power came on. They were not really helpful about the Maya Devi Temple no mud maps or helpful hints etc. Breakfast is basic but good.
