Sounds is a vibrant port city of 1. 2 million people. Longjian is a suburb of sounds. Longjian Country Garden Phoenix Hotel Longjian is a typical star hotel with Chinese comfort. The rooms are spacious, the beds are a bit hard, but they gave me a good nights sleep. The facilities include a sofa, a big desk, working wifi, and a kettle for tea and coffee. The bathroom has a freestanding bathtub and a shower. Breakfast is designed for Chinese tourists. There isn't much for Western guests, just some toast. There is no English menu card in the hotels own restaurant, which is more suitable for business with food served in separate rooms. Next to the hotel, there is a small shopping center with a supermarket, an ofc and a McDonald's. Next to the Marriott are numerous restaurants within a 10-minute walking distance. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a fitness center available for nonhotel guests for a fee. The staff is always attentive and polite, but almost no one can speak English.

I've stayed at this hotel for the past four evenings and must admit that the area is pretty. The room I stayed in, in particular, had a lake view and a lot of greenery. The room was roomy and a little old, and the washroom had many black marks. Perhaps one of the better things is the Chinese restaurant within the hotel. After supper, I was informed that since the room was not part of the hotel, I cannot charge for it. There was no sign or information about this in the hotel. In front of my guests, this makes me appear a little stupid.

The hotel is located in a remote location. My room is large, clean, and the service is excellent. Breakfast is also excellent, with a variety to choose from. Generally, I'm happy with my three nights here. There were a few heavy vehicles parked outside the hotel, and I was always awake when these heavy vehicles' engines started to scream at 6 a.m. every day.

All of this in this hotel is great. This is the first time when I visited for business, and it was a great location to buy furniture. The breakfast had a good taste. All shops behind the hotel were very convenient. I will definitely come back.
