This is the 2nd time we've stay at this hotel. The first was manageable, nothing to complain about since the price is reasonable. The 2nd time was much better, since they are upgrading the hotel, slight noises during day time. To our surprise, we got a free upgrade when we request to stay on the same floor as a friend travelling with us. And they managed to let us stay next to each other. Will definitely stay in this hotel again.

This hotel is my absolutely favorite when in Shanghai. It is located on a fabulous Main Street in the French Concession close to everything in that gorgeous area. There are other big name chains but for the price this is fabulous.

外觀不起眼，裡面卻非常棒的一間飯店！房內寬敞舒適，而且非常乾淨，還有空氣清淨機！浴室有乾溼分離的淋浴間，也有浴缸，梳洗用品齊全！就在地鐵站樓上，一出站就到了；在十字路口處，附近商店非常多+有三間百貨，吃喝都很方便！飯店內有自己的咖啡廳及髮廊、SPA、美甲，非常適合大玩特玩後好好的按個摩放鬆，在泡個澡做一天的ending，完美！去迪士尼也很快，搭地鐵即可直接到達迪士尼，含轉車的車程約30分鐘，比迪士尼附近的飯店便宜很多、周遭也多很多東西喔！

地下鉄の駅のすぐ近くで便利です。ツインの部屋は広く清潔でした。街並みは綺麗で小洒落たショップが多い。飲食店はスタバがホテル内にありますが、中華レストラン以外のレストランは少ないです。

Staying at the Mason Hotel puts you in the heart of all the Shanghai action. Convenient access to subway, walking, best shopping ever and every type of restaurant to please an international palette. The staff are friendly and speak good English. Starbucks is right outside your door, across the street and another one close by. The rooms were comfortable, clean and very quiet at night. This is our second stay and we will come back!

地下鉄3駅まで徒歩2分と便利。隣はスタバ、その隣はデパート。通りを挟んだところにはショッピングモールがあり、とても便利。人民広場までは1号線で隣です。部屋も清潔で満足で、次回の出張もここにしようと思っています。近くにコンビニは無いようですが、向かいのパークソン（デパート）の地下に飲料などあります。

I'm staying at the hotel twice, this time this time in Shanghai. In short, I spent 3 nights there because of work last week. I will summarize the hotel's advantages and drawbacks in the following manner. Pros I enjoy the heated bidet, which is widely used and cleaned, especially in the winter. Although it is not too noisy and is close to a supermarket, a grocery store, and other fi outlet. The room contains a humidifier, and it's not too noisy, despite the fact that I leave my winder open to breathe fresh air. Location near a subway station, a shopping mall, and other shopping centers of a variety of price brackets. Cons The internet is not strong, and even when you have a double room, only a free breakfast is served. In general, the room size is quite good, with a well-kept and spotless. In case you want a hotel breakfast, you must pay for the additional cost. It's a modest hotel with a simple lobby, but if youre there for work and don't mind a grand lobby, it's fine.

This hotel is highly recommended. My daughter strongly recommends this motel because she lives in the French concession area. The huge and top-notch I am shopping mall, which includes a supermarket, is across the street. In addition, there is a metro station and a cheap food court next door. The hotel offers a good fee for foreign money exchange. The rooms are large and peaceful. It's fantastic that the window can be opened. The only negative was that when exiting the lift on level 5, the cigarette odor was very unpleasant.

I spent three nights there on October 19th and have been staying here since 2005. The only drawback may be that the hotel has a tobacco-scented light smell, which is constant throughout the day. They provide exceptional value for the money, clean rooms, and friendly front desk employees. Breakfast is adequate, and Starbucks is in-house. There are restaurants and shopping nearby, making the area a popular destination for expats.

Overall my stay was okay. It was a good location - just above a Starbucks and close to shops, restaurants, and bars. However, since it was November (a winter month) they turned the building’s A/C off, but it was still warm outside which made for sticky nights. The check in process was a bit long, but the rooms, etc. were like the online pictures.
