They have a very friendly and responsible staff team on hotel management, transportation between airport and hotel, park tickets information and purchase aid. Food is great for breakfast and dinner, including best ever Northern China style flatbread 饹饼, beef pie 馅饼, pan fry pork 鱼香肉丝，chicken breast tender 炒鸡片。Kids love their mulberry and cherry during early summer season too. They have 5-7 car parking spots, right beside the building, so parking should be easy. They also have SUV and Van for transportation, free to Aerial tramway station 缆车站, with reasonable charge to Beijing city, which we found convenient for us.

Good home stay . Lady of the house made us breakfast fried rice and eggs and dinner dumplings and tofu with rice included( vegetarian). Airport pick up service available with price 600 from capital airport . 5 minutes drive to Mutianyu wall included . He bought tickets for us on his phone for tobogone , 2 separate cable car options . Around 10 am lot of tourists come flooding in to Mutianyu wall so staying close by for early visit was helpful. He was able to drive us to Jinsangling for day trip with charge , very thankful and convenient .

The room was perfect. This homestay was adorable - the family was so kind and helpful with everything I needed, the dinner and breakfast were delicious!!! I even got lost the first day at another hotel and they came to pick me up there- top notch service! And it’s so close to the Great Wall entry !!

We could not have hoped for more. The property was well kept and fascinating. We were catered to. The food was both fresh and excellent. Our trip to the Great Wall was managed well. More than anything, our hosts were just the nicest people of the world. I can't say enough good things about them.

Staying at this “home stay” was a great experience. The staff was very eager to please. It was so helpful to have them pick us up from Beijing in a very comfortable car and then drive us back after our stay. If you want to see the wall with almost no crowds, stay here. We arrived and did the cable car side in the afternoon. Our host advised this (and arranged for all tickets at no extra charge) as this side would be less crowded in the afternoon. He was right. We got up early and went to the other side at opening. It was amazing to climb the wall nearly alone. Phenomenal. Our family has wonderful, lifetime memories. Highly recommended!!

Loved this place. Cozy family vibe.The staff were very helpful with suggestions and any accommodation needed. Food made there was also very delicious for breakfast and dinner. Really easy for visiting the wall. Just a little far out to the city but staff made it easy to get around.

Traveling in april 2026.Everything was perfect! Very nice people! From the pickup at the airport with a very new nice car, no problem at check in, room was ready , clean, very big, clean bathroom..hot water, clean towels,sunny room,parking available free if needed..breakfast and lunch included with chinese traditional home made food, tea, coffe, made by a nice lady whom we called "our grandma".. We booked tours with the person in charge... And he buyed the tickets for us in advance, to see Mutianyu Great Wall of China section...(at only 5min in car) and the Jinshanling Great Wall of China...(about 2hours drive) and the Water Town of Beijing (about 2 hours drive),(near the Great wall of Simatai) and we saw also the Forbidden city ...all with private transfer in a very nice car... Very nice people..we was like part of the family... We enjoyed our stay here at Mutianyu GreatWall Wangshanyuan Homestay We recomend! If to go visit again The Wall of China...for sure we will go back here...! Thank you Mutianyu GreatWall Wangshanyuan Homestay FAMILY!

Our stay at Mutianyu Great Wall Wangshanyuan Homestay was one of the highlights of our trip. The family who runs the homestay is incredibly friendly and welcoming — they truly treat you like family. The food was fantastic, especially the homemade dumplings and snacks, which were some of the best we had in China. They were also very helpful in planning our trip, offering great itinerary recommendations to make sure we made the most of our visit. They even arranged transportation to the Forbidden City and our airport transfer at a very reasonable price, and the car was very comfortable. The location is amazing — right next to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Our room even had Great Wall stones built into the walls, which made the experience feel even more unique and memorable. Highly recommend staying here if you want a warm, authentic experience near the Great Wall.

I enjoyed my stay and recommend staying there. I decided to stay after taking the bus from Beijing to see the Great Wall on a tour. The next day - I could explore the wall and the small town on my own. The accommodation was nice and the family that runs the hotel/homestay was really friendly. I am a vegetarian and enjoyed generous portions of good food while I was there. I also organized a taxi back to Beijing after my two night stay with the owner. His father drove me to the train station in a really nice electric car - so 'taxi' doesn't really describe the high quality of the car and very pleasant drive. I recommend staying here.

My son and I enjoyed a very pleasant two night stay at Wangshanyuan during our Great Wall hike in October. The room and property were both quite comfortable and clean and within walking distance of the main Mutianyu Great Wall entrance. The personal care and hospitality of the Yang family was excellent! We arrived very late due to our flight and I especially appreciated that Mrs. Yang stayed up to make sure there was a tasty hot meal waiting for us when we arrived. Her home cooking is very good Beijing food. Our host was also kind to inquire about our itinerary and offered various helpful tips, as well as transportation options to our next site.

Arrived a little early and we're greeted by the family. We dropped our bags off and had a quick freshen up before the owner drove us up the hill to The Wall carpark. He offered to pick us up but a local brought us back in the back of his little truck. That evening we had a lovely meal, all freshly prepared for us before retiring for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was simple and nice - eggs and corn bread. The family are really lovely people and so helpful, the father took us back to Beijing and our next hotel in a very comfortable BMW.
