This was our second choice for hotels in the beginning. It was more hidden than I realized. We fell in love with the neighborhood and the hotel staff the longer we stayed. They aided us greatly when we really needed it and noticed and helped other guests as well. Some of the employees were not proficient in English, but they always make an effort to assist you using translating programs. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed reading my book and drinking tea in the enclosed courtyard. If we had to return, we would most definitely return to this location.

Despite being single story and located in a courtyard in the style of a Chinese general, the room is a small, clean room with little english spoken. At first, it was tough, but we loved it and after a few nights, we lost the warmth of the place. Breakfast is simple toast, pork buns, and eggs ham, with just bread. The personnel is beautiful and make you feel like family. Their English is excellent and they are willing to help you in many ways. A large shopping center with a variety of tiny shops and restaurants is just 5 minutes away. The bell tower is not far away. You can still walk on the main road when you reach the main road, but it is a short walk to another major road which comes about 10 minutes to walk, turn left, then turn right. To get to the train station, exit through the front door, turn right, and then a sharp left. Along the little hung streets, there are tiny fruit and grocery stores. If you're looking for fresh bread, wine, there's a store near mys that has milk, bread, wine, or anything like that. If you want to get anywhere, we've found the easiest way to do so. Do not stay here because you won't be able to get anywhere. If you're into this hotel but just want to lock yourself in a big, western-style room

Compared to the pricey hotels and more contemporary choices in Beijing, this place is a fantastic alternative. The bell tower is far from the futon. I loved that I had truly witnessed the beijing scene with people from the city after I visited. That is the unique quality of this location. The hung house has undergone a beautiful renovation, and the former yard of the hung has become a meeting place under a gorgeous veranda. My european parents loved it. Having said that, there are some drawbacks you should be aware of the restrooms are quite small. We only had room cleaning on the second day of our stay out of four. This means no tower replacement, floor replacement, sheet replacement, as well as paper tissue. Some forgotten personal belongings from the previous guests were still there. I assume they did not perform a thorough investigation of the house between the nights because the walls are thin as a sheet of paper. The cell phone next door can be heard ripping. So, you must bet that your neighbors are not loud, waking up at midnight or coming back from a party at 5 a. M. Because they are not familiar with accommodating people all of which are relatively new to them and they are not getting the proper education, certification, or training. We requested breakfast and they did not provide anything. When we reminded them, they replied that we had to ask for

I highly suggest it! Although simple, breakfast is excellent. We chose their lunch twice. It was excellent and was adapted to our dietary demands. The personnel can only speak limited English. However, they are always willing to assist. We were most of the people who assisted us with most of our queries thanks to one of their staff members named Jenny. The hung region is a good place to begin if you have to leave the hotel for a train flight, call a taxi and have some transit time. Due to the hung neighborhood's congestion, we missed our train.

This place is recommended. I dropped by this hotel and asked for help with something, and they went above and beyond to help me! And they refused to accept the money I was giving them as a thank you. The staff is very friendly and care about the people.
