My coworker and I stayed at this hotel from October 2018 to October 2018. We had our sponsors chinese guide to process our registration to the hotel, so we didn't have any English language issues at first. The room I slept in had a fixed clear glass washroom window. Although it had a tradeable shutter, it was the first time I'd seen such a see-through washroom. It may have been to young couples to go on an intimate adventure, but the room had green black tea and no coffee. I realized on day of checkout that the front desk did not have English communication skills. The restaurant's free breakfast did not appear to replenish items which were finished and the kitchen attendant didn't seem to know English.

I stayed at the Plaza for weeks on business and was given a room on the first floor. My first impressions upon arrival at the hotel were not good, there was no indication of a concierge, so I had to wrestle with two heavy cases into the lobby, and no one helped. I checked in and no one offered to assist in getting the cases up to my room, I had to ask where the elevators were and where breakfast would be served. The room was pretty small and very dated, the shower was a stand-in-the-bath with a plastic shower curtain, the toilet was running continuously and the view from the window was a dirty roof, in my opinion, not a five-star hotel. The location, with a short walk to the subway and the shopping center up the road, a fair number of bars and restaurants to choose from, and the breakfast was excellent.
